There's no disputing it. Shoes and boots give me life! It's RARE that I can say I've had a perfect boot, but these are that "OH MY GOD" boots. They look are FAR more expensive than what I paid, and they fit like God himself measured them. A pair of soft socks, and it's all day wear, baby! I love these, and....ahem...I now have them in three colors. If you can, raid Matisse for every Caty boot they have!! ... show more

I love how streamlined and sleek they are. They aren't bulky at the ankles (I've noticed when you buy an ankle boot and they are wide at the ankle-that is not flattering at all) and are pretty comfortable. As for the quality, I think they are a good buy. They're leather, even if you buy them in faux leather they are still going to be expensive and I don't think it's worth spending upwards of $80 for boots made of material which will never have any "give". Leather will conform to your foot, which makes them almost custom. Quality, and if you take care of them, water proof and stain proof, they should last as long as they are fashionable. These boots with floral embossing are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, I am returning them because they are very narrow at the top. They do have an elastic gore, but they are tight and uncomfortable just at the top. If you have very slender legs, you will love them.
