Thank you Alina Mae for creating such smooth, flexible casual pants for us Mamas! The feel of these pants are light, cool and ohhhh so comfortable. Upon trying them on, I loved the feel but was so disappointed that they were superrrr long. Even too long for heels and booties. I read the postcard sent with them and saw that the company didn't want us to return but would fix it! I didn't know how that would work being I bought mine from Amazon and not directly from the Alina Mae Maternity site.. But as I was looking at the writing on Amazon saw that they shrink quite a bit. So I figured I'd give it a try and let them shrink in the wash and dryer. They did shrink quite some in length, about 3 inches maybe but the shrinkage definitely worked out for me as I am a petite 4'11. After a few washes I did hem them another 1.5 inches. Will definitely be buying more. I'm trying the cropped cut next hopefully to avoid having to hem so many. ... show more

Love these pants. Feel good quality and fit great, love the trouser look. Daily use and so far have not started falling off or being too loose in the back, as maternity often do… this is my fourth pregnancy and I normally only buy under belly pants but the panel on these seems to work great.

It’s so difficult to find quality maternity pants at a good value but these checked all the boxes. I bought the blue, black and tan and feel like I now have a work wardrobe. Love the stretchy material, it’s like wearing leggings but without being tight. I really like these maternity pants for work. They are super comfortable and I like that the waist band is adjustable. My one issue is these pants run short. I ordered my “normal” pre-pregnancy size (4-6) and these are short, almost cropped length which is weird for a wide leg pant but I needed them so bad for work I didn’t have a choice. I’m 5’6” so not super tall but these were definitely made for shorter women. I’ve also bought them in different colors/styles and I can say pretty much all have run short - which is why I am docking a star. ... show more

I wore these once and they were comfortable but I washed them (and didn’t dry them) and they still shrunk so much I can’t wear them and I’m only 5’2” Super frustrating because they weren’t cheap

    • Ok, could be better with some small changes

These dress slacks are ok- they get the job done, but could be much better with a few small and inexpensive design changes. Pros- fairly comfortable thick fabric (will show panty lines to some extent but not see-through) Cons- About 1.5” too short (I’m average height and don’t wear heels to work, the legs end at my ankle bones) The ribbed cotton top/elastic band combo isn’t super comfortable- it works and holds the pants up, but the cotton has no grip/compression at all so the elastic band does all the work (and a ~1/2” elastic band that has to be cinched tight around your bump isn’t super comfortable). There also isn’t anywhere to clip/secure the end of the elastic waist band so you end up with several inches just flopping around inside the pants. My advice to the manufacturer would be to replace the current ribbed cotton/elastic band design with a yoga belly band design made out of the same fabric as the rest of the pants, it would be way more comfortable! ... show more

Size: 12-14 Color: Trouser Style - Black
I’m generally not too opinionated about these things and can make most clothing work but the waist band on these pants is about a 1 inch thick band at the top of the cotton band that stretches over your baby bump so it easily digs into your skin. It has buttons tucked on the inside of the band so you can tighten or loosen them (similar to the inside of kids pants ). The cotton is also very thick so overall these pants feel bulky. I normally Wear medium to large pants and I got large for room to grow during pregnancy but found the thighs very tight and the pants a bit short even without shoes on. I’m 5’5” and wear a 10-12 for reference in most brands. I wouldnt Buy these again for sure and didn’t find them comfortable at all like some other reviews. ... show more
