  • Good Product so far
I recently purchased the Mastermedi Zinc Oxide Eugenol Cement Dental Care Kit, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! This product is a lifesaver for anyone needing a reliable temporary solution for crowns, bridges, or fillings. Pros: Ease of Use: The instructions were straightforward, and the application process was simple, even for someone without prior experience. Strong Adhesion: It provided a secure bond for my crown, holding it in place firmly until I could visit my dentist. Pain Relief: The eugenol in the formula helped soothe any sensitivity or discomfort I had after applying the cement. Value for Money: For the price, this kit is a great deal and includes everything you need for an emergency fix. Cons: None so far! It works exactly as described. Overall, this kit is a must-have for dental emergencies or temporary fixes. I highly recommend keeping one on hand at home, especially for peace of mind before getting professional dental care. ... show more

  • Actually really good.. get it
Being fair I was definitely skeptical of this "tooth repair" kit.. So far with expectations that it's a temporary fix it's actually pretty good and easy to use and seems fairly solid after day one... It is a challenge getting the resin to set exactly where you want and keeping it dry for 5min can be a channeling task but once it dries it does feel solid and should last a week or 2 easily Who it's for *Temporary cosmetics fix for a event * filling in a gap in theeth *Prior filling fell out (temp replacement) Who it's not for *Someone looking for a permanent fix of a tooth *Don't have patience to test and work on best results *Can't follow instructions Final thoughts for me at least I see this as more of a "make-up kit" for your teeth and just like make-up a woman wears it's only temporary and should be taken as that because you will replace and fix prior work fairly often but it does the job for those of us that can't afford a $3k+ tooth extraction and repair For me so far day 1 results are good and I will update in the near future Update: first week!! Awesome results it takes time to properly mix and set but once set properly the results even in front teeth where a large amount of pressure and use its really solid and works well Update week 3: This stuff is awesome I have had a front tooth repair and a moler that was broke to the gum line that I repaired 2 weeks ago and they are still in place and I have actually was able to completely chew ice on the right side of my mouth for the first time in 15 years and the repair is still perfectly in place. This stuff works and is definitely worth a try and can be a true game changer for some and at least a good standby option for anyone who may need a good temporary (few weeks maybe more) A few tips that helped me get better longer lasting results 1.do repairs about 15min before you go to bed (most important step) 2. Brush your teeth about 30min before you apply the repair 3. Follow mixing steps but be prepared to make adjustments for consistency and amount needed 4. Have a few napkins that you can dry the area in your mouth a few seconds before applying the paste 5. After mixing and giving a few seconds for the mixture to become just hard enough to be like playdough or bubble gum the best way to apply is with your fingers 6. After you apply to the tooth have a 5min timer set on your phone and start it and just stand there and make sure the area stays dry (it's hard the first few attempts) 7. about 15min after application the repair will be solid enough for you to get ready for bed I recommend a few napkins by your bed to gently keep the tooth repair dry as you go to sleep 8. Wake up the next morning and you should be good to go the mixture will definitely be solid and after a few attempts you will get it exactly how you want it This stuff works and gets rock hard if you use it correctly!!! apply it successfully!!! And keep it dry enough to cure properly.. ... show more

  • Better than expected
Lost a filling and had no time/$$ to fix right away. This stuff worked great! I will say, the mixing is hard to get just right .. but once you find the right mix.. it is easy to apply, dries quickly and really does seal the space. Zero trouble chewing and it’s lasted a week so far ( going to dentist next week for permanent fix.) I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Works really well
I have a crown that keeps falling out, no matter if I cement it with this product or the dentist cements it in. However, if I can avoid chomping down on hard things (think... popcorn kernels), it holds really well. It's easy to use and effective. My one piece of advice... make sure your crown is in the correct placement, because once it hardens, you will have a hard time removing it to correct placement! ... show more

  • Update: September 2023 and Still Holding!
Update: Well, it’s September, 2024, and it’s been 5 years since I initially glued this bridge. It has held beautifully. The other day, I bit into something awkwardly, and heard a crunch! Believe it or not, the cement didn’t fail, my other peg tooth broke off! I’m going to reglue it using the same careful procedure I used last time. I’m a little worried, because there’s even less for the bridge to hold on to, but we’ll see… Wish me luck! I’ll let you know how it works out! Update: It’s now 2023 and I’m really simply astonished at the quality of this product— it’s obviously the same thing dentists use. The bridge that I glued in with this dental epoxy has now been in place longer than it was from the time the dentist originally placed it until my anchor tooth broke and I used this to reinstall the bridge. I’ve only glued it the one time, but I still have the leftover product, just in case! Update: I was reviewing a few of my recent purchases, so I thought I would update this review. It’s been 3 1/2 years since I cemented this bridge of my upper front teeth, and it’s still holding strong! This is obviously a professional product that’s every bit as permanent as what dentists use. I bite into apples and sandwiches with crusty bread, and I don’t worry anymore. Great product, but only as good as your preparation. Keep reading for helpful tips. I wrote the initial review after 2 1/2 months. I updated it after 7 months, and then after a year-and-half. Now, after 3 1/2 years, I consider it permanent! I really expected to be constantly regluing it, but I’m convinced that this is the same formula as the dentist uses. I couldn’t be happier, because it saved me a fortune! After seeing several dentists about recementing my bridge and getting estimates in the $200-300 range, I decided to try this product on Amazon. I was a little worried, because it had been a couple months, and the peg teeth were starting to turn brown. One had broken off inside the bridge, so I worried there wasn’t much for the bridge to hold on to. I was METICULOUS about preparation! First, I took a little piece of 600 grit wet-or-dry sandpaper and gently resurfaced the pegs on all sides, which removed the brown and gave a fresh surface to adhere to. I cleaned the bridge and let it sit in a mild peroxide solution for a few minutes before I washed and DRIED it. Then I flossed and brushed my teeth thoroughly and rinsed with mouthwash. Finally, I dried the teeth and tucked some rolled cotton gauze between my lip and gum, to try to keep the area dry (like the dentist does). I mixed the solution according to directions, filled the bridge, and just before I put it in place, I hit the bridge and teeth with compressed air, to make sure they were DRY. Then I squished the bridge into place, wiped off the excess cement, clamped down to hold it firmly in place, and didn’t move for about 20 minutes. It’s held for two and a half months and counting! I really think making sure the area is CLEAN and DRY is the secret to a good result. I’ll try to remember to update this review in a few months or if it comes loose. UPDATE: It’s been 7 months since I used this product to cement my bridge and that FIRST application is STILL holding! I couldn’t be more pleased! This is a four-tooth upper bridge of FRONT teeth. At first I was really careful not to bite into anything, assuming I would knock it loose, but now I bite into sandwiches, etc. without worrying about it. I’m convinced that this product is every bit as good as what a dentist uses, but again, PREPARATION is important. For a good result, make sure the area and the bridge or crown are clean and dry— it’s worth the effort to do it right. ... show more
