  • Excellent Parts for 2006 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer
Excellent value! Installation is pretty simple for experienced mechanic. So far so good! Made a huge difference in my truck and drives strong like new. Still having p0303 code cyclinde 3 misfire. But truck is running good. Might be fuel injector issue. Will update once I fix. I recommend for everyone has misfire codes and or cylinder issues replace all of these at the same time and use the recommended grease to go with it. If you want to help the engine buy some Lucas for your engine oil on high mileage vehicles and it will help clean it out too! ... show more

  • Have not gotten that far yet in the Timing System rebuild but expect these to be quality.
I'm spending a lot this month buying parts and tools for a Timing Chain job on my 2007 Ford F-150. My pickup has a 5.4L 3V engine that is known for Timing system problems related to low oil pressure. This will be a full rebuild using a Ford OEM parts kit here on Amazon. Ref: "FordTechMakuloco". This guy has a step by step set of videos that will help even us backyard mechanics to get this job done. He has a list of the needed tools and parts too. I'm well into this project now and am SOOOO GLAD that I followed his advice. I replaced the weak oil pump with a high volume pump from Melling and also pulled the oil pan to clear out old bits and pices of the plastic timing guides. This was a bit of a challenge as my 4X4 needed a front axle drop to get the pan out. As with the other videos, it became a dirty but smooth task. You can't go wrong following this guys advice, he has a first class operation. ... show more

  • They will work
Bought these with the plugs in a combo. just some things to note. The plugs were the wrong plugs, the coil connections are 10 thousands smaller due to the seal on the inside. you can get them to work by putting dialectic in the clip for lube. truck runs smoother. I would say they are not as hot as the previous coils, but I'm not trying to race it either. ... show more

  • Fixed the dreaded 45mph shudder
I own a 2007 Ford FX4 crew cab with the 5.4 Triton 3v. Just like most 5.4 3v Triton owners, I was experiencing the 45-50mph shudder while applying light throttle while going up hills. There were times that it was idling a bit rough but once the throttle was applied, it would run great. The problem more than likely is that there is a miss in one of the cylinders. This is caused by a bad coil pack. Rather than spend $500 to have a Ford dealership tell you which cylinder, spend the money on this product and change out all of them. Chances are, if one is bad, the rest are near failure. My truck runs like new and I am pleased. ... show more

  • Great spark plug. Bad coils.
Didn't even last me 1000 miles. I had to put oem coil back on because I had multiple misfire. Find out it's dead coils. Great motorcraft spark plugs, just don't buy it as a set and buy motorcraft coils.

  • Great value for the best plugs!
I had intermittent misfires on cylinder 1 and cylinder 5. I knew the plugs were old and the coil packs had never been changed on my Triton 3v. I bought a magnetic 9/16” spark plug socket with extension designed for triton 3v plug removal and got these installed right away. Runs great, no codes, and no more misfires! These are also the true 546 plugs not the 515’s!! These are the one piece plug not the welded ones that are notorious for breaking off in the heads! Would definitely buy again! ... show more
