  • Good value
They worked great in my 07 F150 5.4L. Second time doing plugs and coils in my truck, and this time was much easier. Make sure you do your research on this plug style if you’ve never changed them out yourself… prone to breaking off on the head unless you take some precautions and take your time! Either way, new plugs and coils went in smoothly and running like a champ again. ... show more

  • Coils are junk, plugs are good.
Plugs are OEM quality, coils are garbage. They lasted about 8 months and less than 5000 miles. I'm now getting misfires that are steadily becoming worse. Yesterday the truck barely made it home. Looks like I will be heading to the parts store Friday, and spending several hours putting in new coils. That's alot of work for 5k miles of service. Save yourself a huge headache and get better coils, these are junk. ... show more

  • Look somewhere else for coil packs DG-511.
Well, they got me. I was searching for a set Motorcraft DG-511 ignition coils for my 2007 F-150 and found this item. After checking again, I can in the description that the coil packs are not Motorcraft, but are High Performance Multispark... Blah blah blah. Yep, I missed it and they got me by putting Motorcraft sparkplugs before the "and" in the name. Set of 8 Motorcraft SP515 SP546 Spark Plugs and 8 Straight Boot Ignition Coils DG511 for Ford Lincoln Mercury V8 V10 4.6l 5.4l 6.8l Compatible with 3L3E12A366CA 5C1584 C1541 FD-508 UF-537 DQ50101D Previously, I had an engine skip a couple of months ago and had to make a quick run to a parts store to get 2 replacement coils packs. I was advised by multiple people to use OEM parts as generic brands do not seem to be reliable. At that time, I was replacing some generic coil packs I had already installed. Since they were giving me some issues, I got Motorcraft coil packs...which were $55/ individual pack. Fast forward to this time as I started to get another skip and figured it was some of the remaining generic coil packs. And as you probably know, sometimes you can find things on Amazon that are less expensive than in the store. So, after I finished changing the spark plugs and coil packs, I noticed a difference between the 2 Motorcraft coil packs I installed a couple of months ago and the ones I had just completed installing. Needless to say based on my tone of this rambling, my truck is running poorly and I am likely going to have to buy coil packs again and install those. ... show more
