I bought this and one other Marvin’s Magic tricks kit as holiday gifts for two sets of young little cousins I have and boy oh boy, let me tell you, they absolutely love it. From the moment they opened the present, they wouldn’t stop hugging me, perhaps because of how the box itself makes everything look so fun and exciting, and I promise it does not disappoint. The magic set comes with a lot of tricks (although not as many as the other Marvin Magic tricks kit that I bought, so be sure to look into that one if you’re looking for the biggest and bestest set of all), and I didn’t have time to go through absolutely everything on the night I gave them the present. But I will say that I started going through some of the main stuff with them and we were able to learn the magic trick performances pretty quickly. We used the app, because it has videos that show you how to do the tricks right. That makes it much easier for kids like my cousins who aren’t old enough to read that well yet. It also made me happy to see that, using the videos, they ‘ll actually be able to learn some of the tricks all on their own, meaning without me there going over it with them. Best part of all, if you asked me, was watching my little cousin successfully fool his parents with some of the magic tricks! Not bad for a little kids magic set! ... show more

Will be giving this as a gift to my 6 year old daughter. She loves doing her own magic tricks so I think she'll really like this. Can't really comment on the contents or product performance yet since I haven't opened the package. Giving it 4 stars because of the quality of the box.
