A touchably soft removable cover comprised of breathable knit jacquard with moisture-wicking fabric and cooling technology is your first contact with the firm support full-size mattress. Cooling gel memory foam and highly resilient support foam layers are CertiPUR-US Certified and provide motion isolation ideal for co-sleepers. Individually wrapped pocket springs, with 5-way zoning, ensure various tensions and firmness for pressure relief and additional motion transfer reduction. Extra firm perimeter coils provide additional edge support for seated positions and help prevent sagging. I knew it was time for a new mattress, and as I've gotten older, I knew I needed a firmer mattress. This has been amazing. It's a bed in a box, so it needs to be removed from the vacuum seal and "aired out". If possible, it's best to let it breathe for about 24 hours first. Then, welcome to blissful sleep! It's so comfortable to me and it feels very well made. I also bought a mattress protector to help keep it in like new condition. I'm certain this will last me for years to come! ... show more

Not only is this a comfortable mattress on its own, but it's such a step up from the plain old futon I've been using. The cooling fabric on the top, combined with the memory foam, create a super luxe sleep experience. It takes some getting used to the texture, after having a very solid surface for so long; this mattress is very firm, but also somehow still a bit yielding. If you press your hand into the surface, it squishes, but when you lie down, it's very supportive (at least for a 100+-pound adult). This fit exactly on my full-size futon frame, so it seems to be true to the advertised size. It comes rolled up in a box, that you do need to be prepared to carry--it weighs a bit over 80 pounds. Once you remove it from the box and get it to a bed frame, you can cut the wrap plastic, unroll, and then cut the vacuum-sealed plastic to let it expand, which it does right away. After about a day (although it says 48-72 hours), it's at its full expanded size and ready for sleep. I am now Team Hybrid Mattress, and sleeping better than I have in a while. ... show more

We had purchased a similar mattress for our bedroom and have really enjoyed it. The convenience of the 'bed in a box' is eclipsed only by the comfort if you get a good one. This is a good one! We needed an additional mattress for our upstairs guest room and dreaded the process of getting a full size mattress up our winding staircase. This solved our problem! While the box was definitely heavy (about 85 pounds), we were able to take it upstairs easily with some strong muscles. When it was time to unbox it, it rolled out easily and fluffed up quickly once out of the packaging. This mattress is incredibly comfortable. It replaced our teen son's old mattress, and he is so happy with it. He seems to not sleep longer, but get more rest while he is sleeping. It is packaged well and easy to move around. When you open the plastic, it expands exactly as it should. No weird smells like many mattresses usually have. It is really pricey for a full size, but I'm guessing half the price is just due to the "Martha Stewart" brand name on it. ... show more

This is a fantastic mattress! I was a little worried about ordering a mattress online without being able to test it first, but I'm so glad I did. The mattress arrived on time and setup was a breeze. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The mattress itself is very comfortable. I'm picky about mattresses and need something pretty firm...this one delivers! It's firm but not stiff, and I haven't been waking up with aches and pains. Even my husband (who prefers a little softer of a mattress) has said he thinks this one is very comfortable.
