I switched the stock board for a local wood slab and the legs don't struggle raising it at all. Cable management took a while, and I was surprised at how high this actually gets. I am 6'3" and don't use the highest setting.

    • Buyer beware: A great concept utterly ruined by poor delivery and service

The box and packaging were so flimsy that they were torn in some spots... the two leaves that made up the main desk were bumped badly enough to damage the laminated wood surface. I've patched the spot with masking tape. The motorized function never worked. And it's not the power supply; I plugged in a good one and it still doesn't work. Either the motor, or the up/down switch, or the internal wiring is faulty. As for customer service, forget it. They told me that it's an old model, and the implication is there's nothing that can be done since there are no customer serviceable or changeable parts (therefore, you can forget about the "warranty" that comes with it). Who engineers a product like this? Thankfully Amazon refunded me the cost of the desk. ... show more
