The media could not be loaded. Mars Hydros lights are working exceptionally well for my garden and I! I love the fact that you can tell how well the plants thrive under their light compared to flourescents I have used. I am also very pleased with the design of the light as it is very efficient in the light output and area light saturation. The suggestion for using a fan works perfectly as it keeps the lights very cool. I love the capability to dim the lights to the intensity you want as well. This dimming option allows your light to be the right intensity in all stages of growing and is an exceptional option to have! The ability to dim was one of the buying points, which brings me to how much I enjoy the "daisy-chaining" capability! It's nice to know your lights are all set equally the same. I was actually so pleased with the exceptional quality and design, that I talked myself into purchasing another model, the TSL-2000. I can literally say that, I've never seen anything more magnificent! As before mentioned, I love the "daisy- chaining" functionality! In conclusion, I would greatly recommend your products! I enjoy both the TS-1000 and the TSL-2000 that your company has created, as do my plants! They both carry efficiency on not only cost but light output as well! I also greatly appreciate the suggestions on hanging distance, cal-mag supplementation and climate information. I only hope to one day enjoy the experience of your more expensive models for helping create the beauty of life that we know as plants! I have been using this light for almost a year now, my plants are carolina reapers, chocolate trinidad peppers, a fiddle leaf fig, aloe vera and a cactus. This light has so much brightness, such a good dimming feature and is the best purchase I have ever made. The light completely replaced those purple lights you see everywhere. It also replaces those heat lamps, I have gone from 3-4 purple lights, to this one and it has kept my plants alive for an entire year indoors. I have this thing on for over 10 hours a day every day and it works just as well as I first got it, again, for non-professional but serious plant growers. PRO's - Price, great bang for the buck. Bright, LED's get warm but not hot. Dimmable - great for seedlings, veg..ok for flower. Cost effective. Great for beginners, but if your going to be growing more than 2 plants later on down the line (cannabis) I'd go for something bigger. CONS - The Driver gets hot to the touch..I know it's meant to, but makes me uneasy knowing something is getting that hot in a closed unoccupied room. They say 2-4 Plants is ok..I'm going to say 2 Only (with my type of plants) 4 Small plants would be ok, less than 1 ft, mine will be in the 4-5 ft range...their's no way the TS1000 would adequately cover 4 of those plants..for my liking anyway. ... show more

    • Hands down most affordable long-term lighting for indoor garden

This is our fourth light of this model but it seems like they had changed the design slightly and the color of the housing itself which if it's anything like the prior models I have no complaints. I have had three of these currently running for 2 years or so and with the exception of one of them which I believe the driver is weakening and not allowing the light output as the other ones even when all the way up I have no further complaints and hopefully I can find a replacement driver for the one I'm having issues with. Would highly recommend not only are these affordable but so far so good on the longevity of the prior ordered ones which again this is the same model just slightly different design so I hope to have the same results with this one results with this one ... show more

Mars Hydro has a great reputation for a reason. I'd bought several other style/brands returned them all and went back to Mars! There is really nothing about this light I don't like and as soon as I have the funds will be replacing two others w/ these.
