  • The holes for the wires were a little small.
Style: Plug
Used it in my boat had to trim my wires down to fit

  • Original replacement.
Style: Plug
This was on our original MinnKota trolling motor. We had to use it on the new one since it didn't come with one. Great price as a warehouse deal and is the exact plug that was on there if the first place. Looks like nothing changed. Easy installation.

  • Well Made, Easy To Install, Works Perfectly
Style: Receptacle, Plug & 6 Gauge Adapter
Easy to install. Fit the existing cutout in Lund boat. Good solid connection of the wires. Once installed it is a good clean look. The plug locks tightly in the socket. I had to buy better wire cutters and wire strippers to handle the 8 & 10 gauge wire I needed to cut and strip. I read several of the reviews before buying and almost didn't buy this plug. My previous boat had a Marinco plug so I made the purchased. I'm glad I did and I have a couple of comments. First it's not possible to insert the plug into the socket wrong. I tried, the plug has three keys and they are different sizes, you can't put it in wrong. Secondly, the face plate and the nut (on the socket) are more than adequate to hold the socket in place, so you can insert the plug and turn it to lock it. If installed properly the face plate is keyed to the socket, so the socket won't turn when inserting the plug. Buy it and install it properly. ... show more

  • Durable
Style: Plug
Factory quality replacement. However, the wires from my Minnkota trolling motor didl not fit. Made an adjustment by enlarging the unit's holes with a drill.

  • Product is high quality
Style: Plug & Receptacle
I was impressed with the quality of this plug and receptacle and really impressed with how simple the instructions are and how well it is labeled. It didn't take long at all to change both on our boat/trolling motor. It is obviously a high quality product that someone put a lot of common sense into designing....which is rare. ... show more

  • Pain until you figure out how to get the cover off.
Style: Plug & Receptacle
To remove the cover you don't twist it off(the turn unlock is for plugging into receptacle). To remove it I had to use screw driver to pry it off and wiggle it a little at a time until it slid off. Was a pain but with enough force worked. Damaged my first one when I accidently bent the one of the prongs. Luckily I had bought two. ... show more

  • Provides good solid connection, and the price was good.
Style: Plug & Receptacle
I needed this to provide a tap into the main DC system on my sailboat, in order to charge the starting battery on the outboard for the dinghy. This was the perfect combination at the right price. 10ga wiring provided with both the socket and the plug made it easy to install connectors into the boat and to a length of connecting wire (also 10ga) to the dinghy. It was better made than I feared, and should provide quite a long lifetime of service. ... show more
