I bought this in a plug/receptacle combo at my local boat dealer when I upgraded my trolling motor to a 24 volt unit. Spent good money for it too. When I installed it, I found there was only one screw holding the plug body together, the other two were missing. Called Marinco to see if they had any extras laying around. Haven't heard back from them for a month. Boat dealer thinks I lost them. So I ordered this and got all three screws and a new plug. I'm happy with this plug, not so much with Marinco support and my local boat dealer. Good Plug, good receptacle, solidly built and easy to install. Good product but the wire lugs are not stainless so they will rust. I had to buy a new plug because I couldn’t get the old wire out of it. I use this plug in a saltwater environment so I’m not sure if it would last longer up north.

I bought a Robalo boat that had a female plug and wires preinstalled from the anchor locker to a battery compartment, for use with a trolling motor. The plug had the Marinco name stamped on it, and I found this male plug that would fit it. I bought a Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor, which came with two bare wires. Hooked them up to this plug, and it fit perfectly into the pre-installed female plug in the boat. (One prong isn't used in my configuration.) ... show more
