I got this to "puppy proof" my porch railings. It worked great for that but it is not meant to last very long. Starts fraying around the edges. The dog is all grown now so that's OK. Great but temporary.

I wanted a "gate" that would be the exact width, something that would let the wind blow through, and be easy to take down and put up. This turned out to be exactly what I wanted to make to deter my 12-year-old golden doodle from going down our deck steps. She's too old to try to jump over. With the bungy cords, it's pretty secure. I hated having her sit with us on the deck and have her leash get caught up in our chairs and things. I wrapped all edges with duct tape, cut a slit in some noodles to make a top and bottom, and used a few bungy cords to secure. So much better than a standard pet gate! ... show more

I was looking for some kind of fabric to make a lower extension on a gate to keep our dog from getting out of the yard. But… I didn’t want to work with chicken wire, because last time I did was a painful, bloody experience. Enter this tough, thick plastic. So far it has worked great and appears to have good durability for something that occasionally scrapes the concrete. It was fairly easy to manipulate.
