This microphone arm is exactly what I needed for my setup! It's very sturdy, not very noisy when handled and has a nice apperance. Very competetive with WAY more expensive arms and best of it it stays folded out of the way.

when assembling the arm, i used to provided tool to tighten the arm. The screw head immediately became stripped and i was unable to tighten the arm enough to keep the mic from flopping down freely. i have a $14 dollar boom arm that holds stronger than this thing. EVEN IF it didnt break instantly, this would still be a sub-par product for the price. If you are already spending $75, may as well spend $100 and get a nice boom arm that's made of quality materials and doesnt use pot metal for a torque bearing component. ... show more

I really like the way this arm looks and functions. It has sleek design and the movement on it is very smooth. I really like how it can be folded and tucked away neatly. Installation was very easy. It’s a simple clamp. I like how you’re able to hide the wires underneath the frame. The one issues I had (at least with my microphone) is when in mounted my Blue Yet Nano on…I didn’t enough clearance to plug the usb cord. There’s a screw/adapter that was too wide, but I was able to unscrew it off, which gave me enough clearance to use the cord. But this left a slight gap and the microphone didn’t screw in completely flush. This may not be an issue with another microphone. But overall, I’m liking this arm for my setup. ... show more

WHAT’S INCLUDED: -Maono Microphone Arm (Multiple Pieces) PRODUCT: This Maono Mic arm is made of pure metal. Aluminum actually. It fits ends that have ⅜ inch or ⅝ inch threads, with a max supporting weight of 4.4LB. It features a low profile style design, where your bottom component can swing around 360, and your 2nd upper arm is what can pivot. This WILL fit your MAONO mics as well, which makes sense. The DM30 by MAONO for example is what I tested on this. Pictures included. You just need to take the base of the stand off and you have access to the thread that fits onto the mic arm. The clamp is very heavy duty with a nice silicone pad so you won’t damage your surfaces FINAL THOUGHTS: -This maono arm may not be for everyone because it’s a more lower profile stand. Instead of having 2 sections of the arm pivot, you have 1. However, I find the construction is TOP KNOTCH. It’s very well made. The aluminum is heavy, sturdy and feels like it’ll last a long time. -You’ll need to make sure you have the kind of setup where if you are swinging this out of the way, you can do so since you can’t just pivot it up and off to the side like some others. -The setup is very simple though, and the ball head adjustment on the actual mic thread gives you a lot of flexibility to adjust your mic how you want into position. I do wish they had some padding on the upper part of the clamp as well or came with a pad for that area you can add on. But that would be my only complaint. This might be the mic arm for you, if this type works for your setup. I think its well priced for it’s construction and ability. ... show more
