Cute, but not what I was expecting. It’s a lot smaller than I thought and was also thinking it would feel heavier. The material is also very thin and I don’t imagine it taking long to rip and make a giant mess. Definitely not worth the price. Only keeping it because my daughter still likes it anyway

My daughter has sensory processing disorder and there is a similar snake at her OT that she carries around with her. She loved this snake! It’s very strong material. Heavier than I expected, which works well for her. It’s also about 2 1/2 feet long. My daughter absolutely loves this snake.

I like this weighted snake, though I wish it were made with a more pleasant fabric. The product description is currently confusing and/or outright wrong, with someone messing up converting metric to imperial. The snake is stretchy, but it’s about 33 inches long, and the 1kg version weighs just a bit over two pounds (2 pounds, 2.3 ounces). It’s a great size and weight, especially for a child. I’m a little disappointed with the fabric, though. It’s kind of rough, and it feels sort of gross against my fingertips, slightly catching on the rough patches. It’s some sort of polyester, I assume. I would have rather had a very smooth fabric, possibly even something soft and a bit furry. But the fabric is kind of stretchy on the scale side, so you can squeeze the snake and feel (and see, actually) the polyethylene pellets moving around. Another disappointment is the tags. Obviously someone with sensory issues isn’t going to want rough, crinkly tags on their snake. But they are not designed to be easily removed. Firm tugging does not remove them. You’ll need to very, very carefully cut them off. The snake feels reasonably durable, but care will need to be taken to not expose it to anything sharp. The expression of the snake is sort of neutral. Not at all menacing. The tongue is felt. Overall, it’s a pretty nice weighted toy, but at this price point, I would have liked to have had a little more attention to the details. ... show more

I really like this weighted snake. I love the way it will wrap around any area, but it is especially fun to drape it over your shoulders. I think this is a very cute snake with big eyes and a little felt tongue. The silver and black skin of the snake is very shimmery. It feels mostly smooth when you rub it, but it also has a tiny bit of scale-like texture to it too. The underside of the snake is all smooth. We use this snake as a friend to hold when frustration levels are high or when we need a little more concentration. I love that weighted items are becoming more available, but I would love it even more if they became more affordable as well. Any time something is labeled as therapeutic it automatically becomes more expensive. These types of items are great for anybody with sensory needs, but they are great for everybody else as well. This is a great tool for helping to calm, focus or relax. This snake also is just a cute little friend for anybody. It would make a great gift and I would highly recommend some weighted toys for all kids. ... show more
