I ordered the large for my boy who wears a size 4Y. My daughter, who wears a 7 in women's, adjusted them to the max and had room. For a kick, I put them on, and my size 9 women's feet fit in them (a little narrow for my wide feet, though). They're definitely big enough that now I have to buy another pair so both kids have new light up skates that will last them quite a while. They're sturdy, well-built, and fun. My daughter has been wearing them around the house since they arrived two days ago (son doesn't know how to skate yet). My only problem is with the toe stop - it's hard instead of rubbery. Maybe that's how they make them now, I'm old-school and prefer the grip of a rubber toe stop. I'm sure out on pavement the hard plastic will work better, but inside on a hardwood floor, it's useless. I'll buy new stops, so it's not a big deal. The current ones have the bolt inside so I can remove them. ... show more

These skates are too cool! My 4 yo son has been asking for skates, but never skated before. I happen to come across these and decided to surprise him and gice them a try. Shipping was super fast: received next day. We already had some protective gear, helmet and knee/elbow pads, which is a must. Upon receiving the skates, we tried them out. The fact that these skates are adjustable is my favorite detail. Literally you push a button on the bottom of the skate boot, and push or pull the the skate to adjust in size. Ours range from 10-13. My son is in a size 10 now, but in a few months time, he will have outgrown these skates, just like his shoes. So, these skates can and will grow with him for at least 4 shoe sizes. there is a velcro strap that goes across the boot, at the top where the laces stop. And then there is also an adjustment strap at the very top of the boot that goes all the way around the top for additional ankle support. The light up wheels are super cute too. These skates are not cheaply made by any means, very very durable. i foresee them holding up way past my son eventually outgrowing them. The design of these skates are brilliant, a lot of thought and care went into making these. We have only practiced roller skating in the house, and a lot more practice is ahead. But these skates are perfect for my little guy, who is absolutely determined to do it without Mommy's help :) Although I received this product for free, I do have to pay taxes on the entirety of the sales price. These are great skates for a child just learning to roller skate. Well made, secure and sturdy. They’re size adjustable. The light up feature is very cool as well as a safety feature. 9 year old loves these skates. Got him some pads and a helmet and we were good to go. Highly recommend.

The skates are adjustable, fit shoe size 6 youth well. They have the stopper in the front, a velcro strap across the top of the foot and plastic straps around the ankle. My child says they're comfortable, and no complaints.

These kids' roller skates are perfect for any kid trying out roller skating for the first time. They have an adjustment button that you push and it allows you to make the shoe longer or shorter to fit the length of the foot. They have great ankle support, and three ways of tightening them. First, they have laces on the shoe itself, and also a velcro strap that goes over the foot. Then they have a ratchet-style plastic buckle that reminds me of the ratcheting straps on snowboard bindings. Really sturdy. The complexity of putting them on means the child probably will need help from an adult, but they should be supervised when rollerskating anyway, so it is what it is. They are a bit on the heavy side for a small child, but since they are adjustable, they will grow with the child. ... show more

Do you remember how cool we felt when we got tennis shoes that lit up? How they definitely made us run faster? Well this is the roller skating version of that.
