Took me ages to get it off my lips. Definitely need to use something under it but it does not smear. Does not smudge on a glass. Does not dry cakey. Does not come off no matter the wonderful night you had with your husband. It does stay put and looks fabulous , I will buy it again.

First, the positives. The color is fantastic. Bright red that gets noticed. The applicator deposits color exactly where you put it, but you need to let it dry for about 20 seconds before doing anything (talking, eating, breathing.....anything!) or it will smudge. The color does last most of the day and does not come off on your cup when drinking, however, the color does wear off in the center of your lips from eating/drinking. This is when the negatives kick in..... 1) the color is not 100% smudge proof. If it gets on any fabric, you can count it as a rag, because the color will not wash out. 2) You will need a powerful makeup remover to get it completely off of your lips, or it could be on for 2-3 days! No joke. 3) When reapplying, the matte finish becomes super dry and peels, leaving your lips to feel not so nice and looking strange (splotchy color). 4) If you wear a lip conditioner or primer underneath, all of the waterproof/smudgeproof benefits go out the window. It's just a pretty red lipstick at that point. Recommendation: Use this product for PHOTO SHOOTS, SELFIES, PAGEANTS, FASHION SHOWS (events where you only have to look perfect for a couple of hours without retouching). ... show more

I got the shade, 'dinner time'. Which is ironic because while it is beautiful, I would not recommend wearing it to dinner. When I first got it, I put it on that evening after work and wore it around my house to test it out. It goes on easily and smoothly. The color is amazing. It has a great matte finished and made my lips look very full. It lasted the entire 5 hours before I took my shower without smudging or coming off. It didn't get flaky or weird, it was great. I put it on the next morning before work and this was the true test that it didn't pass too well. I had a couple cups of coffee and then a small breakfast at work. By 9am the color was starting to fade in a spotty way. The lip line stayed dark while the lips looked blotchy and uneven. I did bring it with me so I can reapply it and that's fine. But if you're looking for something long lasting and smudge proof, I would not say this is it. The matte look and the color are great! I would give closer to 3.5 stars, if I could. ... show more

It a pretty color but not for me. I will be requesting a return. It has more Orange hugs than pink I feel. My lips feel almost sticky of that makes sense. Like I have glue on them. Definitely not a creamy matt like NYX or MAC that's easy to apply. I'd rather pay more for a better product. My low rating is based on the following. 1) Ease of application - Applicator is very long making it hard to apply, it does come with a lip brush though 2) Coverage - This is not a full coverage lip color. I applied it twice and as you see it leaves bare spots 3) Quality - This is not a sheer matt and dries VERY quickly. Literally in seconds & dries your lips bad 4) Lasts - This did stay on very good (most the day) until I ate, but feels slightly sticky ... show more

I truly have to rub with a makeup remover wipe a few times to get it to come off. It has a matte finish which I absolutely love. I love this product and love wearing this lipstick out, even just for a day out. Absolutely beautiful product that I would recommend.

Ok so the negative is the color. I ordered "Nude" which turned out to be a bit more orange than pink and not my color at all. BUT, I found that you can add another color before or after and it still works great! It lasts very good! It is matte, even with a gloss before application, it turns out matte. Not a negative. Because of the lasting effect, I now use this with all my colors and it makes any color last. I thought it's a 3-star, but now that I've used it every day for 2 weeks, it became a 5-star and I will definitely order it again! Great product! ... show more

Ok, I ordered this lipstick for a christmas themed swirled candy cane lip. It takes about 20-30 seconds to dry, and after that you can keep touching your lips and NOTHING will come off. It is the same way when taking it off at night. You really have to SCRUB aggressively to get all of it off, and it also leaves your lips dry and patchy. Another thing I don’t like is that the texture is patchy and it is not a highly pigmented product. You almost have to keep caking it on the get the rich color you want, and that is probably a quarter of the tube, and it is too much product just for the first time using it. The thing I do like is you do get a lot of product. They are very generous with the amont, but I am just not a huge fan of the lipstick’s overall texture. It is also not a very comfortable formula to have on your lips for a very long time. It just doesn’t give off the best feeling when you lick your lips. Overall, I would recommend for you to save your money on this lipstick. ... show more
