I’ve been attempting to get better at makeup lately and trying to focus more on cheaper options at this time for several reasons. I don’t want to practice on expensive palettes. I read reviews and was aware of what I was getting into. I just tried this palette and what other reviews are saying are ac
curate —- it’s sheer, the colors are lighter and it isn’t a universal option by any means. Lighter skinned people are the only ones who can get anything out of this, so please be aware of that when purchasing. The highlight IS pearlescent and I personally love that. I love the creaminess and I was able to tap on and blend with fingertips, and the finish was very natural! I also like that I can make a natural eyeshadow look with this, so it’s multi purpose. It’s true you often get what you pay for — there won’t be massive payoff with this palette, but for the product at $10 I find it highly worth it. Especially if you’re more of a beginner and just want to play around with skill level/technique. It’s hard to go wrong with a $10 price point, just keep your expectations at bay. I find it worth it and hopefully this helps someone else!

perfect addition to any makeup bag

I use this almost every day to do my makeup. The various colors allow me to cover up anything I need to or contour my face to perfection. The cream is super smooth and blends perfectly

Very smooth and creamy application. Color is saturated. Easily blendable. The only thing I wish I had realized is that the white color is pearlized. That isn’t what I needed. As a very fair skinned person, a flat white contour is necessary. The white in this palette is only for highlighting.

More useful as concealer than contour for me

First off, my skin is quite fair. Even so, none of the contour shades really show up on my skin much, and they are a little too warm/brick toned for my cool-toned complexion. I have to apply them 2-3 times on my cheeks, nose, and jawline to really see them at all. The lighter colors work well as ligh
t concealers. The yellow one is especially good at covering broken capillaries on my nose and chin. All the colors are very creamy and blend well. They start out feeling rather oily, but "dry down" to a more matte feel. I wish the colors worked better for me, because I like the texture and how blendable it is.

Great product for the money

This was my beginner kit to using creme make-up and to contouring. Nice product. I have not broke out from using it and it's been a couple months. It would be great if one of them was a little less sheer so it had better coverage for my dark circles, but it's a good pallet.
