We got this because we had a window that was hard to find a screen for. It was simple enough to assemble too. The only thing was that it took a little bit of hand and finger strength to pop the pvc frame over the magnet that held the screen in place. Once it was on you could tell it was very sturdy. It took me a little bit to get the angle to press it then I was able to slide my finger along and it went on. All in all I think it's a very good deal for the price. ... show more

I needed to install a screen on a sliding aluminum window in our finished basement. Ordering a custom screen would have been too costly. Installation was fairly easy. The hardest part was getting the white strip that holds the screen on to one of the magnetic pieces. The other slightly difficult step was getting the four corner pieces used to lift the screen to stay attached. I ended up using double sided tape to get those pieces to stay put. This took a bit more work to install than I initially expected, but the end result is great. I wound up redoing one of the windows and the adhesive came off without ripping paint, which was great. For the price, it's hard to beat!

I spent my whole morning trying to get this to fit right to cover my screens from the cat scratching. It is designed for windows that don't have screens and where it will sit flat, just like in the pic. It was a nightmare to get it to on the balcony screen door and over the bedroom screen. And then the cat just took it down like it was nothing. Their pics make you think it will protect from cat scratching but it doesn't. Waste of money. ... show more
