These are a very strong magnetic mount. I got two so I could mount a single row light bar on my small tractor for plowing snow before/after daylight. They stay very secure and remain in place regardless of hitting bumps or driving over rocks and rough terrain. I will be purchasing another set to mount a 52" light bar on the roof of my box van to keep wildlife safe during night drives in my rural area. Neat concept. No drilling into any metal is always best. My roof-mounted lightbar hasn’t flown off yet, even at speeds approaching 80, through a windy, high elevation desert. Four stars because they are sold individually, when one usually would need two to work.
