It's a good gift for the toddlers. Though the total pieces are not too many but you can always buy more. I don't like Legos as they are way too expensive and kids just make them a couple of times at the max. Another downside of Legos is that they are choking hazard. Whereas these magnets have unlimited options if you are creative and are totally safe for the kids. Go for it if you want your little ones to enjoy the toy. ... show more

The quality is great but buyer beware that there are only 48 pieces. The photo shows waaaay more than that. Additionally, it comes with a guide of ideas to build but you will not have NEARLY enough to create any of them. My kids were a little disappointed. We ended up buying another brand of 150 pieces to go with this one so they actually had enough to build virtually anything with. I am going to preface this with the fact the my 5 year old LOVES these blocks. He just got these last night and is BEGGING for more so he can actually build something substantial. They are smaller than led on to believe from the pictures included in this listing and you do not get many. (For someone with poor spatial relation skills, pictures for size comparison are important and I used those to judge the size.) The quality is fantastic for what this are. They are hard and sturdy. The magnets are strong enough to build a small tree and a cube and hold together nicely. If anything has too much height, they become unsteady and will topple over. I would love to be able to get my son more, but with this price for 38 tiny blocks, I cannot justify getting more sets for him. Out of all the birthday presents he received last night, this is the only one he has played with so far. It was the first thing he did when he woke up this morning and is saying with them as I type this. I would love to see this price cut in half for this set. If it was not for the price, these would be a 4 or 5 star item! ... show more

I received these, and of course I ordered without reading reviews first so I got and they were smaller than I expected. Luckily they were for my minecraft obsessed 8yr old so that wasn't a big deal. I was shocked when we opened them and realized that when you shake them there is little beads or magnets or something in them that rattle. My kids are all over the age of 3 so I'm not worried if they were to break open and what ever was inside were to spill out but if my kids were younger I would very much be concerned and paranoid of it. They seem sturdy but they also feel as if I stepped on them they would break (maybe not the kiddos but for sure an adult, and lets be real I step on my kids toys all the time because they end up all over, no judgement here) I ended up with 3 different sets and they LOVE them. they build with them all the time. Its like magna tiles but different so they thought they were amazing. 100% would recommend just if you have young young ones be careful. ... show more

I got these as a birthday gift for my 7 year old son who loves Minecraft and they have been a huge hit! They come with a convenient carrying bag which has really helped him keep up with all the pieces. He likes to use his Lego Minecraft figures and makes little homes for them! Very cute and keeps him well entertained!! Admittedly a bit expensive for how few pieces it includes but I'd still say it was worth it. ... show more
