The media could not be loaded. First things first, I love fidgeting with magnets. There's a great "click" sound when these ones sink back into place, and the fit is nice and strong. However, that comes with some major cons. -Most of the designs on the card aren't doable with only one magnet fidget pen set, you'd need at least 2. -I like to twist/flip my pens, but the magnets just break apart when I do this without the ink cartridge. With the ink cartridge, I'm worried of breaking it open. So I just separate the magnets to fidget. -The pocket clip does not work! Simply moves the magnets around, won't actually hold the pen. -Only 2 of the 3 ink cartridges that came in my set actually write well, the 3rd seems dried/broken in some way. -The rainbow coating has already started to scratch/chip off, so it won't hold up to any real fidgeting. Not to mention, DO NOT use this as a stylus (which is part of why I bought it, not great thinking on my part). I know kit includes stylus tips, but you do not want to hold these strong magnets close to any devices! This works as a fun/unique pen, but is hard to store. This would be a good little toy if you are bored and creative. The pen is just ok as a pen. It comes with two stylus attachments. The magnets are pretty strong and kept adhering when I was trying to arrange the cap and pen for the picture I took. There are two ink refills and twelve ball magnets of three different sizes. The pen itself is made up of cylinder magnets too. Obviously keep this away from young kids. The included card has precautions on one side and ideas for things you could make on the other side. ... show more

Got this for my son who tends to need something to fidget with at school that isn't too distracting to others and keeps him focused on learning and school work. This is a cool fidget toy that also works as a pen (and works decently, I might add). It does have a lot of small pieces and thankfully he hasn't gotten in trouble for dropping it and having the pieces go all over. I think there are better options out there and I definitely would be careful with this if you have small children at home or pets that tend to eat things they shouldn't, which the product does warn you about. This fidget pen is really fun to play with as a fidget toy, but not great to use as a pen. The pen cartridges are okay. They write, but it's not terribly smooth, and the pen is a bit wriggly, because the magnets, while strong, still have some give when you write, which isn't ideal. It's nice that they give you various accessories and tops for the pen, but the clip is pretty much useless, because it just bends with the magnet and can pop off. And the stylus tips are obviously unusable, because the strong magnets will interfere with your devices. I tried it on an old tablet I don't care much about, and it didn't destroy it, but it did just immediately make the screen shut off, and the tablet acted strange afterward. So it was absolutely pointless to even put those in there. But it's fun to take the cartridge out, and use the magnets and ball bearings to make fun shapes and designs. The magnets are quite strong, and snap together with satisfying clicks. And the rainbow coloring is pretty, so they're nice to look at, too. I've been taking it to work to fuss with while I'm doing busy work. All-in-all, I gave this three stars, because that seemed like a nice middle ground for the fact that this pen is an utter failure as a pen or stylus, but an absolute success as a fidget toy. ... show more

I guess you could use it as a pen. I mean, it does have an ink well and ball so it does write. But what's the fun in that? The ad shows some configurations, but really, this is good for the fidgeter in that they can get creative with it. The magnets are fairly strong so it's going to hold together. First off, the idea of a magnetic pen with fidgetable pieces is just genius. This pen comes with the pen pieces, a bunch of ball bearings to use for making shapes with the magnetic pieces, 2 stylus tips for use with touch screens, and 2 extra refills for when you run out of ink. The refills are the gel pen type. I was able to go through our accumulation of pens here in the house and find another gel pen that had a compatible type of refill, so you should be able to find more. The pen has a great weight to it for writing. The pocket clip does not work that well, because pushing something under it just separates the magnets, so it won't clip onto something securely. The pocket clip does keep the pen from rolling, though, so I would not want to be without it. Storing the pen is a bit of a challenge. I like to keep my pen clipped to my notebook, and this one won't work for that. You could keep it in a little pen case or in the original box. Storage issues aside, I am glad they made it with the ability to use quality ink. If you see this and immediately want it, the quality won't disappoint you. Just be aware it is a bit tough to carry around without losing bits. ... show more

So this pen is truly awesome. It's really fun, it feels nice in the hand, and the pen itself writes really nicely. However. I dropped one of the links 1 time and it shattered - and it doesn't come with extras so my pen is now short a link, forcing me to choose between covering the tip or the end completely.
