It was easy to assemble and install. I waited a bit before reviewing because I wanted to see how it holds. My baby had fell into it today and didn’t fall through or got hurt. So the durability is also strong and it’s flexible. The rail was easy to adjust the height and also put the rail up and down.     • Works, but not very stable on platform frame.

So my 1 year old sleeps in bed with me most nights and I have a queen size bed on a platform frame, no box spring. Until we get him a floor bed (since he refuses to sleep in his crib) iI needed something so I didn’t have to stay in bed when he does or something that was safer than stacking pillows as a barrier for him to roll off. I have seen good reviews from this brand on some of the other rails they sell, but wasn’t sure if it would work on a platform bed frame with no boxspring. I put it together fairly quickly and easily. After putting it together; it felt like it was sturdy. My dad came over and helped me install it on the bed frame. We used the Velcro that’s included as per the directions (it gives you instructions for two types of beds and then one for all other types). While it’s close to the bed and seems like it should work fine, it just doesn’t feel very stable. I do think if you had another connected (it comes with corner connectors for more than one) it might feel a little sturdier, but I can’t be sure. If my kiddo were to wake up and stand up and lean on it, I don’t think it would be safe, but if he rolls over in the middle of the night he isn’t going to roll off the bed. If he were an infant, I would not use this as he could easily get stuck between the bed and the rail. It works for what I need it for and perhaps with a different bed frame/ setup it could be a more secure set up. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but four will have to work since I’m unable too. ... show more

This bed rail really suits our family’s needs. First of all, its height can be adjusted according to the thickness of the mattress, ensuring that the baby will not turn out on the bed. This is a very useful feature for me since our mattress is thicker. In addition, I like its independent lifting design. Each side can be raised and lowered independently, which makes it easier for the child to get in and out of bed, especially when I need to sit next to the bed for a long time. I put it on the minimum height it was still high enough to keep our one year old safely inside when was awake and sat in on the bed. The height adjustment could accommodate bed with thick mattress. It was easy to install on the bed but if taking it down every time to get out of bed was the intention then it wouldn’t be the best choice so enclosed all three sides of the bed would work best for small child that could be lifted up and over rail. This bed railing is easy to install and can support the weight of a toddler fully leaning on it however with only one side, is is not stride at all and leans away from the bed a lot. It also allows for a gap a toddler can slide down between the railing and the bed. Collapsing it down to “open” the side isn’t super easy so just leaving it up and going off the bed another way is how I usually do it. ... show more

It is easy to install and quite useful but only if you have all the panels. Having only one is very unstable and definitely will not support the weight of your child, especially if your baby is already Able to stand . The material looks strong and durable. The railing is very nice. Conclusion, do not try to use only one side, you will end up disappointed and it is also dangerous. Buy all 3 sides at once ... show more

I loved these bed rails. For what I need, I found it excellent and of great quality. It's a little complicated to assemble, but when it's assembled it looks great on the bed, you can adjust the height. Very different from another one I bought.
