Pus- Looks good. Nice lighter weight spring or fall coat. Lots of pockets. Sleeves are nicely long. was not too full in the body. Has hood that can be rolled away. Cons- Pockets are not good to put your hands in. For being "tactical", pockets not good for a concealed carry as they are awkwardly placed. Ski jacket type zipper which means works backward than typical and a little awkward and not super easy to zip in a hurry. Have not test rain repellency but similar jackets work OK for light rain. I went by them dimensions and waivered between Med and large. Ended up sening back the large for medium. I am 6 3' and 190 lbs. 35"sleeve and the med was plenty long. The medium from dimensions indicated it would be too narrow in the shoulders but for me it was perfect. ... show more

I love this coat. I have a closet full of flight coats and jackets from various efforts and missions with patches and such. I wanted a civilian coat, but with a touch of military. By this I mean some zippers, definitely zipper on shoulder, there is dark velcro on both shoulder arms, but it's not terribly obious as to be an eye sore if you don't use them. Fit is perfect I wear a large (6' about 200lb) and it fits with just a bit of room if I'm wearing some layers underneath. Outer shell is weatherproof, inside has a nice fleece. The sizing chart leans small. Best if you choose 1 size larger than normal. The hood should be removed if not actively used. I'll gift this to a "smaller" friend.
