For the price these cups are great. I’ll compare them to the Tervis 16 ounce insulated glass which I consider the creme d’ la creme. They cost 1/4 the price of the Tervis cup so you cannot expect the same quality. That said they look very nice, tall, clear and slender. Because the straw hole is centered you must use a straw with this cup while you can drink out of life or use a straw with Tervis. Not a big deal as I prefer using a reusable straw which comes with the cup gratis! The straw is not as firm as others I own but it works well. The cover fits snugly, preventing leakage. Unfortunately it cannot be completely closed as can the Tervis but that would only be a problem if the cup falls on its side and it’s fairly sturdy so I’m not concerned. One problem I have is that it does not fit under the Kuerig spout so I have to make my coffee in one cup and transfer it. I purchased this cup to use for winter golf and to be able to share coffee from a thermos with friends. I did not want to lose $16.00 Tervis cups on the golf course or have to go after cups that went astray with my friends. For that purpose these are great. I hand wash in hot water so I cannot attest to dishwasher safety. ... show more

The tumblers itself is sturdy and durable. However I ordered this particular item because of the different colors and so I can distinguish each tumbler for a particular family member. Instead of getting 4 different colors I receive 3 different colors: 1 orange, 1 yellow and 2 pinks. I did not receive the mint.
