    • Very nice helmet
So far it works great. I haven't tried video yet. I do wish there were a few updates to make it even better. Please don't take my update recommendations as a reason to not buy this helmet. 1. Option for intercom to work as soon as the button is pressed. 2. The "goggle's" (face shield): a) auto tinting with much more tinting in bright light b) stronger magnets or more magnets. Sometimes its too easy to remove goggles by accident. c) add a few small vent holes that can be closed. 3. Some way to close the top vents. This would reduce rain/snow hitting hair, possibly help reduce fogging. This would also be nice during cold weather to help keep head warm. 4. An XL size.The large size is a bit tight FOR ME. 5. Optional ability to have the helmet turn off and/or sleep. Its too easy to forget to turn off the helmet when off the bike, or worse when done riding. Then in a couple of days you realize the battery is dead. I haven tried charging while the helmet is on (via a portable USB battery bank), this would be a nice option. The lights are bright and add safety. The more lights while on a bike increase the chance of a car driver noticing you. Turn signals mean not legally having to use hand signals when turning. I have a dealing few car drivers know hand signals and they are hard to see at night. Being able to communicate with my wife is so nice. Once my wife forgot to charge her helmet and lack of comms sucked. Its also nice to be able to stream audio from my phone for calls and/or music. I haven't tried video because you have to connect phone via wifi to helmet to use the app to control video recording. I always forget to do so before my trip.     • Amazing helmet
This looks like a great helmet. It has everything you can want. Lights in the back and front of the helmet. Make and receive phone calls and stream music while you ride. Just one issue, it did not fit. Medium size is kind of small, otherwise it's amazing.

    • Too many issues to recommend.
As much as I wanted to like this product, there are too many issues with it. The most important being that the App (Himit) is no longer available through Google Android Store, so it is impossible to connect the helmet to the app. I first had it working on my old phone and after getting a new phone, the app is no longer found in the app store. I contacted seller and they said they would work on it. Nearly a month later and nothing yet. Messages back and forth have solved nothing. Thankfully the return window is until the end of January 2025. I will be returning this helmet mainly because of this. A second issue is that the remote stopped connecting to the helmet after the first day. For me, this is not a big issue, but it's just something else that doesn't work as supposed to. Video recordings tend to be choppy sometimes, although the quality was good when it worked correctly. Connecting to the camera was challenging as sometimes it could not create a connection with phone app. Audio quality is mediocre and when talking on the phone with someone, I often got complaints that they could not hear me well. It is going back as it also appears that there is very little support from seller and too many issues to contend with. ... show more

After the trouble i have with the helmet the customer service help me and make it right! The company was helpful and understandable! If you run with some issue contact them directly so they can assist you! Good job.. i'm buying an extra helmet soon.

    • A Big Swing and a Miss by Kracess
Update 12/24 - The app is horrible to say the least. It requires connecting the helmet to your phone via BT. Then to use the app you have to connect the app to the helmet via BT again thru the app. The camera function on the app then requires you to connect to the helmet via wifi, if you don't the videos have the wrong time date stamp. While connected via wifi you apps won't work if they stream data because they try to use the wifi, so no Strava or Pandora while you're connected. The BT speakers cut out for a second every 30 seconds or so randomly. About 25% of the videos are corrupted and not playable. Overall I am really regretting getting this helmet and am actively looking to replace it. This is my 3rd different helmet from Kracess, I loved the other two, but this one is very poorly designed and the functionality on it is questionable at best. Original Review Below This is my third Kracess helmet. They have all been comfortable and the previous two protected me from head injuries when I crashed. So far this new model has some definite improvements but also a few flaws. Pros -As with all Kracess helmets this one is extremely comfortable and easy to adjust. -The 4K camera on this model is a HUGE improvement over the HD camera on my two previous helmets from them. -The speakers on this model are a big improvement over previous models. Don't expect high quality ear bud level sound, but definitely more dynamic than previous helmets. The sound on this model is less flat. -SD card slot is much easier to access compared to prior models. -White light in the front is a nice addition. Neutral -Comes with a remote instead of having functioning buttons on the helmet itself. I'd prefer the buttons on the helmet, but some people may like the remote. -Has "turn signal" lights. I find these to be pointless for the most part. -Has an app that controls most of the functions on the helmet from your phone. -I ride alone so no opinion on the intercom function. Cons -No flashing light on camera to let you know it is actively recording. -It requires bluetooth and wifi connections to fully use the app, should be just bluetooth. -Bluetooth and wifi connections are flakey to get the connections to work. -Setup was a bit more difficult than it should be for the bluetooth and wifi connections. -Instruction manual is next to worthless. -Visor does not fully attach with all the magnets. Middle one is a bit loose. Overall I'm happy with the helmet but the improvements come with some flaws. I got a "used like new" helmet for $100 and I think its a good value. ... show more
