I love the way this mug looks and use it pretty frequently, but I hardly ever use the lid. It just sits on top of the mug, doesn’t actually seal it or prevent spilling.

Had my coffee in it a few times already and it didn't disappointed me. So here's the thing, you need to realize it's a glass coffee cup and as every other glass it can break it crack, so with that in mind just pay attention how you use it. 1. Use the right temperature of your coffee - don't make it boiling hot. No one ever drinks coffee like that only Starbucks in they're paper cups. 2. If you're afraid your coffee is still too hot you can use these two options I've learned as a barista a) put metal spoon inside the glass than pour your drink b) rinse the glass in cold water before pouring coffee into it. And since you got this cup you obviously had in mind a better healthier and more elegant way of drinking your coffee so make it your ritual and use the technique I have gaven you. ... show more

My only complaint with this cup is that the wooden lid has a very strong wooden smell that I can get rid of. I don’t even use the lid now because it would leave the mouth of my cup with the scent. However, the cup itself is so cute, I just use the lid as a bottom.
