No instructions came with it. It turns on but the only button that seems to do anything is the "off" button and the mode button. No indication as to what to do.

I have experienced the same thing most people here have said to experience. The only difference is, I kept trying to get it to work. It seems to only work if both channels have a good connection for both pads. This means, all four pads have to be applied before it'll work. Press the 'ON/UP' button once all pads are in place and you should see the lights on the unit indicating functionality with the pads now sending electrical pulses. Believe me, I was quite frustrated with it too and thought it didn't work. Almost gave up. But if you just be patient and play with the dang thing you'll figure it out! The S/P changes whether the arrows affect the Speed or Power option, with no indication which it's affecting. To turn off the device, bring the power to 1 and press down again, instead of going to zero, it turns off. The reason only the OFF and MODE button seem to do anything is because the pads do not have a clear connection! No hair, clean pad-to-skin contact. ALL FOUR PADS must be placed BEFORE the unit will work! Three stars because the pads are a little janky. Get better pads if you seriously want to use this product. ... show more
