This dress is amazing. It is lightweight, stretchy, and flattering. I have a wide chest and sometimes dresses are very uncomfortable, I’m not able to extend my arms all the way, worried about ripping the seam, etc - NONE of those problems with this dress. I usually order an XXL in most dresses (size 14-18 depending on brand), I got the XL in this and could pull it up over my body without having to undo the zipper. So if you’re slimmer or between sizes or want a snug fit, you might want to size down. It is stretchy, so I feel like it will be forgiving if it’s not exactly the right size for you. It is a very thin material, but it is not sheer. You will have to wear very thin undergarments, and if you’re worried about showing a little nip you will definitely want a good pair of pasties, as I do not think most bras would look good with this (at least bras made for larger cheated women). A bralette or a strapless could work if they’re a smooth material, I’m pretty sure anything with lace would have the texture of the lace visible through the dress due to the thinness and texture of the dress material. I personally do not mind if the outline of my nipples is visible, especially if I’m dressing up in a satin slip type dress. 10 out of 10 would recommend, I want it in every color. I’m 5’3 and 150 lbs. I have a rectangular shape body. I typically wear size 6 and ordered a medium. Pro: The dress fits my body very well and it’s the length of perfect. I didn’t think the slit was too high, but I typically like having higher slits :) Lightweight dress which makes it perfect for a summer evening. I felt very comfortable in it. Cons: The seam of the dress is a bit weird - it’s slanted across the upper stomach area, but once wearing the dress, the seam is not very noticeable. Since the material is thin and it hugs your body (in a good, comfortable way), you can see more outlines of certain body parts. I wore a body shaper and it helped. I'm glad it fit, I was nervous about that part. I'm 5'7 and 230 lbs and got an xl. It's a good length, the slit goes up high which is sexy. It has good ruching over the tummy area which is flattering. I'm very busty, so I could use more room up there but it's not bad at all. Will post a picture later. As much as I loved the material of this dress, the color was totally off from what was pictured. Instead of a bright olive green, it was almost a light, greenish, brassy color. It's also veryyyy thin. If you planned to wear Spanx or something similar under it, you'd probably see the seams. I thought about keeping it as a nightgown because it's truly that soft/comfy. This is not sheer but the material is thin. I would imagine that the lighter colors would be see through but the dark colors are fine. This material also has a lot of give in fact I didn’t even have to pull the zipper down to put it on. so buy according to your true size.     • PLEASE READ!!
Ok I put this on and was pleasantly surprised! I will start with explaining why it is not 5 stars. I wish I could have done 4 1/2 but alas I cannot. So two reasons: 1) The slit is higher than it looks like in the photo. I will have to have my friend sew it down a bit because otherwise you would NOT be able to wear shape wear with this, it’s too high up. Though to be fair, the dress on the model in the picture is more loose than it fits on me, and I am curvier than the model, I have big hips haha, so perhaps it is just how it fits on me. But speaking as a woman with curves, if you want to wear shape wear, you would have to sew the slit down. 2) I ordered the color shown when you first see the post, the rust brown. The color does not match the photo entirely. In reality it is much more orange. I would not call it rust brown, it’s more of a dark, burnt orange. Now, I love burnt orange and I look good in that color, so it didn’t bother me that much. But if you order a product it should look exactly as described, which it doesn’t. That being said, I love it! I had low hopes, because I’m not a model haha and don’t have perfectly rounded hips and curves and I don’t normally wear thin straps, I try to cover my arms, so ordering a thin, satin dress with spaghetti straps had me tentatively hopefully at best, but I just LOVED the look of it so I just decided, why not?? Then, when I got the package I was more nervous because the package was so small. Then, I opened it up and looked at the dress and was like, there’s no way this is going to look good on me, it was such a small amount of thin fabric. Now, I did put on a small pair of shape wear shorts, me personally I wouldn’t wear it without them, but that’s just me haha. So when I put it on, I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! It actually looked REALLY good and complemented my shape. To look at such a thin, small fabric and then love it on me, I was so happy, I even liked how my arms looked in it! So if you are a curvy girl, ORDER IT! It’ll make your curves look great! I got it for a party, so after the party I will definitely be posting an update with photos so you can get a better idea.
