I just moved across the country into a new home. Until the rest of my stuff gets here, I need somewhere to sleep. That's why I got this mattress. It needed to serve me for a week until my moving pod comes with my regular bed. I'm on night four, and so far it is holding up really well. Inflating and deflating is super easy. Just plug it in, turn the dial, and let it go. It advertises three minutes to inflate, but I argue that it only takes half the time. Then again, I like medium-firm mattresses, so I only let it fill up 3/4 of the way. Turn the dial back, and I'm ready for sleep (as soon as I get my sheets and pillows). So the pump is easy to use. It's moderately comfortable, but I wouldn't advise this to be a regular bed. I'm still a little sore in the back in the morning, because there is always that very slow leak. I've never met an inflatable mattress that didn't have it. Being as heavy as I am probably doesn't help that. However, the re-inflation is so fast it's not even a bother. The cord is a good length, in my opinion, and it fits right inside the pump box that's included so it's not all over the floor to step on. I love that. Overall, I think the value is great for what it is. I grew up camping on air mattresses that took a ton more effort than this one to blow up and rest on. The material is, as I'm concerned, par for the course for today's standard. It comes with easy-to-apply patches, but I hope I don't have to use them soon. **NOTE: An outlet/power supply needs to be available. Air pump is Built-In and operates via an electrical cord. This is an EXCELLENT Twin XL size air mattress. PROS: This rolls out and inflates in under 2 minutes. Plug it in, switch the knob to Inflate, and away it goes. Switch the knob to Off, unplug the cord, tuck it back in the compartment, and that's it - all set. To deflate switch the knob to Deflate, press on the mattress to push out the air and fold it. Easily folds up and fits back into the drawstring carrying bag. Fully inflated it's a generous size! Very comfortable, and a little air can be let out for anyone who prefers a softer mattress - when fully inflated it's a firm bed. Mattress inflates to a full XL twin bed, very generously sized. My older teen son is 6'1" tall and there's plenty of room for him on this air mattress. Top is sort of a brushed cotton. If putting sheets on this will need a TwinXL sheet. The electrical cord folds and easily stores in a covered compartment next to the pump knob. Knob is simple and works great: Off/Inflate/Deflate. CONS: - Needs to be near an electrical power source to inflate. This might be an issue if used in a remote cabin/camping place. However, most people would not be lugging an air mattress to a remote place. The only other time this could be an issue is during a power outage at home. ... show more
