I like being able to just apply as much (or as little) as needed. I know it seems petty, but some squeeze and/or pump bottles it's an all or nothing amount. Can't say as it's aroma smells strong or anything which is good in my view. I shave most days but once in awhile give it a break. I might go a couple of days without and this cream makes it easier for the blades to do their job without snagging. I have somewhat sensitive skin and as an old guy, a non-perfect face. If you’ve never shaved with this kind of shaving soap, or you’re more used to canned shaving cream, you’re gonna be blown away by how smooth, and how fresh your face will feel after shaving with this soap. It foams up very easy, and with an application brush, you don’t need ALOT to get full coverage, which is an economical plus, as you’ll get ALOT of shaves out of this cream. The cream itself is good. Smells like a soap, moisturizes the skin well, no irritation. There are some questionable ingredients. Taking into and the fact it is made in China, you never know if they exceeded doses. There are some ingredients besides listed below, where exceeding a dose may cause serious effects. 1. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). A related detergent used in cosmetics, is a skin, eye and respiratory tract irritant and toxic to aquatic organisms. Other ethoxylates may be contaminated with ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane. 2. Cocamidopropyl betaine. With proper use, products containing CAPB should be safe for most individuals. CAPB is a mild ingredient that manufacturers may include in products for babies and infants. However, it is not suitable for products that remain on the skin. Leaving CAPB on the skin may result in irritation. 3. Glycerol. Seems to be safe for most adults. When taken by mouth, glycerol can cause side effects including headaches, dizziness, bloating, nausea, vomiting, thirst, and diarrhea. Glycerol may not be safe when injected intravenously (by IV). 4. Acrylates copolymer. Safe for use on skin and hair at lower concentrations. At higher concentrations, however, it may cause allergies like irritation. A patch test is recommended prior to full application. Additionally, even though Acrylates copolymer is soluble in water, it is non-biodegradable. ... show more

I have sensitive skin that is prone to razor burn and razor bumps. I previously used Paula's Choice PC4Men shaving cream with good results, but it seems to go out of stock frequently. I tried this product because it looked similar in consistency and is unscented. I'm surprised to say that it does an even better job than my previous shaving cream. Lathers nicely, doesn't take long to get into a fine cream, provides extremely good protection to my face when I shave. I typically pass twice, in opposing directions. My other shaving cream (from a can) would almost always leave me with razor burn unless the razor was factory fresh, no matter how liberally I applied it. This stuff really gets the job done.     • Shipping issues in warm climate watch out

I received this item and within minutes of delivery it was in the house. Due to the extreme heat, I was unaware the product inside would be a liquid format. It had the consistency of water. Unknowingly I opened it and half poured out. It needs a warning do not open in southern climates until it hits room temperature. Smells great as it poured all over my shirt and pants. I will update this review but it stinks as I lost half the product before I could even use it. Product was excellent. My beard grows thick and dark. Shaving 3x a week is a pain however now tolerated with this cream. Would recommend without reservation.
