I had rotator cuff surgery January 10 but bought this during the 6 weeks while I was waiting for the surgery because I wanted to sleep in my bed and I could not get into a comfortable position. I was so glad I got it early because by the time I had the surgery I had worked out the best position for my comfort. I have also discovered that using the wedge under my knees has alleviated back and knee pain, both of which have bothered me in the past. I find it ridiculous to try to make up the bed with this system in place, however; maybe that's a bonus? It has been 8 weeks since surgery and I am still sleeping with the wedge set in place. I have tried sleeping flat but my arm still needs the support. I use a travel neck pillow atop the wedge to keep my neck from rolling around (I have arthritis in my neck) and I place a pillow under my arm to keep it from rolling out of place during my sleep. I’ve tried lots of pillows for my lower back pain, but nothing has ever helped. The design of this set works because it has almost infinite adjustments with the sloped wedge. The instructions show lots of ways to set it up, which is helpful, but it’s the ability to change the position of the back wedge in small increments that makes it work for me. Everything was exactly as described. the cushions just don't slip nor slide. The multiple positions that you can make are endless which makes it easy to find a position that is perfect for you. I was skeptical to pay up for the cushions, but I was not disappointed. I got the cushions for my knee replacement, and it was a winner for sure. I bought this set for my husband to use after surgery. He was in a ton of discomfort so I was willing to splurge a little for this set. They were worth the money to help him get comfortable for his first few weeks home from the hospital. The cushions are firm, the fabric is really nice and soft, and they are plenty big enough for a man who is 6'1". They'd also be great for someone who is on bed rest and wants to sit up comfortably. April 20, 2022. My husband has a difficult time sleeping and needs to be inclined. Stacking the pillows just wasn’t enough so I got this for him. He had his first best night sleep in a long time. I’ll do an update later on as to how this holds up in terms of durability, but so far, so good.
