This ladder, though not as light as I anticipated, is an extremely well built and designed ladder. Sadly, the one I purchased was too short for all my projects. Instead of returning it, I am gifting it to a relative and purchased the longer one for myself. FYI, I am a 65 yo female with limited strength, but lots of determination. I love how, with the press of two buttons, the ladder slowly collapses, like it is on hydraulics. No concern for pinching fingers, etc. I may buy ones for each of my children for Christmas this year. I am extremely impressed with this ladder.

This is exactly what I wanted—an affordable ladder that takes up little space. It does that and more. I was most impressed by a feature that keeps the ladder from smashing into your thumbs when you’re bringing it down. I read several reviews calling this a death trap. Those reviews made me nervous while I was on the ladder, but my conclusion is that if you’re careful when opening it, you shoUps be fine. You can and should check that each latch is fully locked in place before getting on.

I've read several comments by folks who are not satisfied with this ladder. I don't get it. This ladder is very strong and sturdy, easy to extend and retract, and only occupies a small area for storage. I'm 67 years old, 6'3", 260 lbs., and have no qualms about the safety of this ladder. My primary use for this ladder is when I'm traveling with my travel trailer in tow. But I also use it at home. The flex, when fully extended, is minimal. IMHO, this is a quality ladder and I would highly recommend Mike C.

it weighs a little bit so you know it has thick enough materiel to support weight which is a concern of mine. it is easy to deploy and retract WARNING----DO NOT GET YOUR HAND OR ANY PART OF IT BETWEEN THE RUNGS OR THE EDGE OF THE UPRIGHTS WHEN THEY ARE RETRACTING.... IT WOULD BE PAINFUL. JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN RETRACTING IT AND PRACTICE A LITTLE ON THE UPPER RUNGS WHICH ARE LIGHTER UNTIL YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. The instructions were hilarious. i should go to work for this company proofreading their manual and fixing all the syntax grammatical and spelling errors .

I live in a 2-bedroom townhome which does not leave a lot of storage space for ladders that are 6ft and up. The reason why I considered buying a telescoping ladder was primarily for access to the attic where the water heater and furnace unit are kept. After considering many options, I chose Luisladders because it does not give as much as other ladders. I am a 6ft, 250lb man, and I am easily supported by the ladder, even when I have items in tow. An added bonus, I can literally slide the ladder in any small space because of its compact design. Small ladder for big jobs. Get yourself one.

I needed a ladder to get on to my roof to adjust my antenna this ladder is incredible after your done with it, it collapses so small you can fit in under a bed or behind a couch and best of all if you need to travel with it you don't need an expensive roof rack this ladder can fit in the back of even the smallest of trunks or hatchbacks.

I have never been so excited about a ladder. It collapses when the job's done, so no more walking through the house and smashing things with 8+ft in tow. Small enough to be stowed under a bed or in a large-ish cupboard. The automatic retraction feature is neat as each rung seems to land on a cushion of air (there's no crashing or finger smashing).
