To confirm - I would definitely consider these "fashion" shoes and not meant to be joggers probably but they have a very solid construction, the sole has nice ridges (no not slick) and insole is cushy and comfy. Honestly I purchase these December of 2021. It is June 2023 and I still have them. I wear these four or five days a week and I stand all day for work. I’m comfortable all day and my feet aren’t sore when I take them off. The only thing I did to alter them is sprayed a waterproof spray on them the day I got them. I wanted some shoes I could keep by the door and slip on and off really fast for walking the dogs. These fit the bill perfectly! I was a little confused at first whether they'd really be slip on since they have laces, but they are! You just lace them once and you can pull them on and off after! I suspect that the mesh may loosen over time, so having the option to tighten up the laces to secure the fit seems really smart, and it makes them look more like "real shoes" too. They are very comfortable. The first couple times I was a little worried because the edge of the arch support felt like it might rub and get uncomfortable, but that broke in pretty fast and now they are like butter. I started with boring but practical black, but now I like them so much I'm considering getting more in other colors! Be aware that since they ARE mesh they are not a good option for outdoors in rainy days, or if you work somewhere that's likely to have spills. My actual shoe size is 6 1/2 . I purchase my boots and sneakers in a 7 to be able to wear a sock or footie at needed times. This shoe is too big for me, I think it’s a whole size too large for my feet and quite noticeable. I will definitely need to pass on to a family member.
