  • Great Kennel - Solid, Secure & Easy to Assemble !!!
Size: 42 INCH Color: Dark Silver
My boy isn't happy now that he has a solid cage and can't escape. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be that the bars are still far enough apart that he can reach out and grab things if left to close or if you place something on top of it. Other than that, it's amazing. I am not worried any longer that he will get out and destroy any thing or get hurt. It was packaged well so no damage and the best thing is it came preassembled. Only had to put on the door latches, etc. Also, the price was great. Out of the other kennels I have purchased this one is by far the best. ... show more

  • My little Houdini hates it
Size: 42 INCH Color: Silver
It was easy to put together with two people. About 10 minutes with the dog "helping". It's a good size and easy to clean with the two separate trays. This cage is STURDY! I have read other reviews and was apprehensive at first but it seems like the company listened and made corrections. The locks have held up to my 55 lb bully with separation anxiety slamming into them full force to the point where the cage moves. The cage is also heavy which is good since it doesn't tip over when she hits the sides. She has bitten the bars and pulled but the bars have not bent. She even tried to sticking her paws out of the door where the locks are. Unless she grows thumbs, I really don't think she is going to escape this one. She has escaped wire crates, plastic crates, rooms with doors that open inward, you name it. She even chewed a hole through a locked door to escape when she couldn't open it. This crate has saved my sanity and helped keep her safe. No more trips to vet for cuts from wire crates or upset tummies from eating doors. ... show more

  • You won’t be asking “Who let the dogs out?”
Size: 37.5"L x 25.5"W x 32.0"H Color: Dark Silver
This kennel has kept our dog in… which is amazing! She has broken through a basic wire kennel, and a plastic clam shell kennel, and cloth kennels, but not this one! She can’t break out at all. It is well built, easy to assemble, and perfect for a 50lb pup! The screw in knobs are perfect to lock it if you have a dog who can undo the latches. No missing parts at all. The bottom of the kennel does have slats, but all we put in there is a blanket and it covers the holes just fine! ... show more

  • Heavy duty
Size: 37.5"L x 25.5"W x 32.0"H Color: Dark Silver
I have an escape artist husky, has been able to get out of everything from the crate to the back yard. This crate is sturdy, heavy duty, practical, and worth the money. I need this puppy to be safe when i have to leave the house and he gets severe anxiety so I can’t leave him loose in the house without him destroying my home so this keeps him safe and the house safe. Unless something changes, this crate is working beautifully. I highly recommend. I will update if a problem arises, but for now I’m behind happy and super relieved. ... show more

  • Great kennel! If you have a dog with SEVERE anxiety issues, read below:
Size: 46 INCH Color: Dark Silver
This really is a wonderful kennel. It is very easy to assemble, it's sturdy, and maneuverable. It comes with three security clips (should come with four, as there are four latches). We have a four yr. old rescue GSD, which we've had since mid-May. He was found on the street, so there is no backstory to him. He LOVES his "apartment." HOWEVER.... he does have "trigger events," and they involve lawn equipment, usually, or vacuums (fireworks, too). This dog goes next-level crazy. In fact, his vet says it's "above his pay grade," and has referred a behaviorist. He absolutely destroyed his previous kennel (the usual wire one with the pan in the bottom). We'd secured all corners, doors, EVERYWHERE with 100lb zip ties. He bent the frame and wiggled out of it. His snout and nail beds were bloody and he broke a bottom canine. I came home to a blood bath - it was all over the floors, doors, walls in the house. That's why I bought this kennel. Anyway... he had a "trigger event" in the Luckup while I was at work. He broke the steel security clips. He bent the latches (we had to reshape them in order to open the door). He mangled the metal sign on the outside of the kennel. How is beyond me. He didn't escape, but he hurt his mouth and bloodied it. This by no means detracts from the quality of the kennel. I'm just saying that if you have a dog with SEVERE anxiety and your dog does not care if it hurts itself, you may end up with some unexpected issues. Regarding the sign, we removed it, used a grinder to remove / smooth the tack welds so Bruno - should he freak out again - wouldn't cut his mouth on those tiny, sharp dots. I got small, keyed brass locks to use instead of clips. I figure regardless of the brand, (steel or aluminum) he will break them, and the last thing we need is another broken tooth / dental work. Our lawn crew agreed to wait until I get home from work to do our yard. It gives me a chance to let him out to potty and to medicate / sedate him. He's now on anti-anxiety meds daily, so we're hoping we can get him out of his "loop" and help him feel happier and more confident in his fur (he has pretty bad separation anxiety in general, too). I priced the military grade "high anxiety" dog kennel - the one that looks like it's made for Hannibal Lector - and for Bruno's size, it would set us back over $1,500 (including shipping). But I see why the sides are flat with holes for air flow - the dog can't bite bars, the snout can't reach anything, and I'm guessing the gauge of metal is such that a very strong and determined dog can't bend or distort it. Bruno's left plenty of teeth marks in the powder coat / paint on this kennel. I don't leave a bed or towel or anything with him during the day. It would give him something to destroy if he gets upset. At night, though, he gets his bed and absolutely loves sleeping in there. This kennel is great because I can put place him inside during the day and he will be kept safe from causing great harm to himself. Now that the lawn crew has adjusted our schedule, we haven't had any issues, thank goodness, while I'm at work and Bruno hasn't damaged his mouth on the latches or locks. If you have an escape artist with no anxiety issues, this is definitely the dream kennel you want, hands down. ... show more

  • Very well made.
Size: 37.5"L x 25.5"W x 32.0"H Color: Dark Silver
I have tried multiple kennels to keep my high anxiety dog. The last one was a "heavy duty" furniture style kennel from chewy that lasted an entire three days before the door was broke. I spent the next month reinforcing this 200 dollar kennel every time my dog would find another weak point. With this new kennel there is no weak point. My dog has figured out how to open normal latches however the ones on this kennel are locking and strong. If anything eventually fails I would imagine it would be the latches. My only recommendation would be to have more latches. The entire kennel is made of folded welded steel. Every corner is bolted, which is another weak area in other kennels. Very happy with the quality and feel like I have finally found a kennel that will hold my nervous boy. ... show more
