I used this product on the handle of my push mower. The padding is nice (although midway down a roll I found a slight tear, like 4mm or so. Not sure if I did that or it came like that). However, my only real complaint is that the first foot or so had no adhesive. I pulled back the strip and there was no adhesive behind it until after the first foot or so. Not bad for the price. Tape backing isn't the best I've experienced but it holds up ok. The end caps are junk however. Would use again on a bike I was cleaning up to sell.

I tried installing when we were having extreme weather and temperatures were in the 100’s. I ended up pulling to hard and tore a small hole. I was trying to get done real quick so not blaming product just temperature. I really like the color and feel.

    • Comfortable Tape, Difficult to Install
Color: Black
Once installed this tape is comfortable but it is much thicker than most road bike tapes. Basically, it will increase the size of your handle bars. This tape comes with a narrow adhesion section in the center which helps hold the it in place. In addition, two sliver plugs are provided to secure the tape into the handle bars ends. Problem is the tape is so thick it will not stay in the handle bar making it impossible to push and hold the tape inside the handle bar while simultaneously installing the plug. I used a few drops of hot glue to hold the tape in place only to discover the plugs were to small for my drop bars, so I used the original ones. Also, two strips of useless black tape is provided so secure the other end of the tape. This tape just wouldn't stick to the handle bars. Best solution is to use electrical tape, it stretches and holds much better. Some installation instructions or hints would have been useful. Other than that, this tape works. ... show more
