I purchased this for my potty trained dog after a shoulder fracture and surgery. We're on a second floor apartment with very steep stairs, and she was at the time a 6 month old, 65lb Rottweiler so carrying was not an option for me! After experimenting with various pet station set ups on my second story patio for my 2 pups I’ve discovered this to be by far my best option. Both of my dogs prefer outdoor “duty business” as opposed to disposable pet pads. These natural looking artificial turf option’s proved to be a game changer. Banjo & Layla recognized their new utility station quickly and got down to business. Upkeep and maintenance proved to be much more efficient as well. Far less tracking as the square panels have sufficient drainage holes and solid waste sits up on artificial blades for easy collection. Important to know you will need some form of pee pads underneath your turf to manage the drainage. I like the lattice framework design the turf is mounted on as it keeps the turf surface a1/2” above the pee pads underneath allowing for circulation and increased drying times after each use. Also note the lattice frames are connectable on all sides allowing for multiple configurations. My 6 pad setup is 2’ x 6’ with 2 matching disposable pee pads underneath. I found it wise to also place oversized machine washable pet pads as the base protectors under all to allow for the occasional wandering while doing their thing. When needed maintenance comes due I’ve found these turf pads most efficient and sanitary of all my experiments. I simply hose down the connected segments front and back on the downstairs lawn (or shower if more convenient for your particular situation) and allow to dry in the sun. Changing out the disposable and washable pee pads while the turf dries. I’ve had my turf pads in use for 2 months now and so far pleased with my purchase. No issues with stains or offensive odors so far. I haven’t tried it yet (I will), but occasional soap or pet enzyme cleaning agents would likely help in keeping your pet station fresh. If you are in a situation similar to mine, second story condo with doggie door and patio and no backyard access this may likely be the solution for you. Or in cases with no patio or outdoor type access these turf squares would perform admirably for use in a walk in shower. This would allow for very easy pet maintenance to be quickly cleaned and removed when needed. As mentioned I’m pleased with my purchase so far and may consider another set for my walk in shower for times when I leave the house and have to close my pet door access to the patio. My 2 MaltiPoos like to bark at neighboring dogs being walked by neighbors in the grassy area surrounding the pool below. I’ll attach a photo to more illustrate my review. (Note: it’s was raining lightly when taking this photo. The 2 upright panels are for my male pup who likes to pee on things and prevents from peeing outside the pet station). If you have similar pet situation and looking for solutions I recommend trying these latticed based turf squares. They are working for me. Hopefully you’ve found this review helpful. 👍 ... show more

Since we can't always get to land when pup needs to potty, this is the perfect solution! It took a few days to really start using it (and not missing it) but she uses it like a champ now! It rinses easily. We read recommendations to put large grommets on either side of one edge in order to put a rope thru it for easily over the side rinsing, but we haven't done that yet. Be sure to give treats after pull used properly in order to provide positive reinforcement! She loves using it now 🤣 ... show more

Within 5 minutes of opening my dog just walked over and started using it, no coaxing or anything just started sniffing around cocked over and started doing his thing. That being said it isn’t an end all you will definitely have to still inspire your dog to use it. Otherwise I gave it that rating because of the grass quality I just felt it could be a little more realistic due to it being used inside the home. On a very positive note it is very easy to clean and remove feces and such. I believe this to be a perfectly good product as long as your patient with your animal, thank you. ... show more

We have never had an inside dog. We now have a yorkie and no way of getting her outside fast enough for her to potty. I put a washable pee pad down and a thick rubber mat on top of that with this grass. She was so quick to potty train with this grass. I wish we would have done this first. We tried the pee pads first and she tore them up. This product is wonderful! Please make sure that you put something under it though because urine will go through the grass. I take it outside once a week and spray with the garden hose than hang it over the porch rail to dry. It takes about an hour to dry if not sooner. ... show more

This is the first time I've had artificial grass and I'm very pleased with it. With the sudden surge of torrential rains we've been getting in the West and one of our dogs starting to pee in the house I decided to get him a place to go. I don't know if I'll ever get them to use it, because they're older, and they're a little confused about being allowed to go in the house... we believe they think it's a trap. lol. I even attached a little branch they like to pee on to encourage them. The grass is still worth it because if they start going somewhere else we can teach them. Meanwhile they love the grass. I’ve been using it as a pee pad for my six dogs and wanted to order another one for my back door when they run inside and out but we’ll get that on a deal. Soft real looking grass used for outdoor fairy garden, tall enough for most pieces to stay in place, however found the squares were too hard to cut to smaller sizes. The ground must be very level in order for pieces to stay connected. I would definitely buy again, l had to discard the one l purchased before this one. ... show more
