I had not used I at the time I gave 5 stars. It’s not as sturdy as I thought. My puppy at 2 lbs was able to get out of it. When you push the sides out , two sides tend to fold back , there for I would give it a three star. Maybe good for a cat or older dog.

We have an 8 week old pup and thought we'd give him a little more room in this playpen than in his hard side kennel. In general this playpen does what it's designed for pretty well. It folds and unfolds very easily, is lightweight and much easier to transport than a metal wire kennel or one of the tote crates. However it truly has to be used as just a playpen, meaning the zippered door left open and rolled up. After just a few hours over a couple days our pup clawed holes through the thicker fabric advertised as 600D quality. When we leave it open for him to come and go it's just fine, but otherwise it won't hold up to a dog that wants to get out. Another thing to watch out for is while this playpen is easy to setup, it's also easy to collapse. Our pup had one side folded in on himself and the only thing that prevented the other sides from folding in was the large padded bed we had in the bottom of the playpen. Overall a good value for a portable, supervised play space, but not a good substitute for a longer-stay kennel. ... show more

I bought this playpen for 2 kittys I adopted. I set it up with a small plush bed and fuzzy blanket, a small litter box and laid wee pads on the bottom incase of accidents. Lots of room for both of them inside the size medium. I was very surprised by the sturdy frame and quality fabric. Love the functionality, the front flap rolls up and can velcro to keep it out of the way, and the top circle zipper is great as well! I’ve had it for a little over a week and have not experienced any rips or fraying even with the kitties Spider-Man clawing up the sides. Highly recommend for parents of kittens/puppies or smaller pets. 10/10 no complaints ... show more

This was perfect for our new little pug, well designed. We used this to travel and to move around the house. It wasn’t to big nor to small. Easy to pop up and fold up. He stayed in this at night. Made it easy to unzip the top to remove him or unzip the little door for him to go in and out on his own. Made with good material, easy to clean after messes, no smell and was a good price point. Super happy we bought this for our new rescue puppy! It fits in the cab of the truck which is great for traveling. We mainly use it as her night time kennel/bed in our bedroom. We put a blanket in the bottom so it's nice and cozy. She hates her regular wire kennel, but LOVES this one. She happily jumps right in through the top at bed time, and sleeps comfortably through the night. It did actually come with one of the velcro tabs not totally sewn on, so I returned it for a replacement, which was super easy. The second one came very quickly and was in perfect condition. I waited over 3 months to write this review because I wanted to see how it would hold up. It's held up great!! 100% recommend this, and will be buying a larger one in a few months for her night time kennel since she's growing like a weed! Ha ... show more

this is good because it comes with its own carrying case and it’s a good size for a kitten or a puppy, but it folds in on itself pretty easily, which isn’t great. i do like how you can roll the side door up and secure it with velcro, definitely makes things easier. it was simple to put together, is a nice simple color, but i wouldn’t expect it to last too long ... show more

This is a cute little playpen (I got the small) for my 8 wk old, 3 lb doodle. Keeps him contained, keeps him safe from our other dog and he can play. Accidents are easily cleaned up w the nylon bottom (doesn’t absorb). The dog loves to jump in and out when the door is open. However he also likes to bite the zipper and the mesh ‘window’ may get a hole in it shortly from the dog clawing at it /biting it. I agree w another user that it should have something to secure it to the ground. My little 3 lb guy was outside of it, took the strap in his mouth and was able to pull the pen across the room! Easy set up. Easy to fold it down and put back in the bag. Definitely a good product for the price and it meets my current need w my new puppy. Update: we only ended up using this for about a week or two. Dog chewed one of the velcro squares off the door. Doesn't like to be inside and chews on the mesh.
