This is a cute little playpen (I got the small) for my 8 wk old, 3 lb doodle. Keeps him contained, keeps him safe from our other dog and he can play. Accidents are easily cleaned up w the nylon bottom (doesn’t absorb). The dog loves to jump in and out when the door is open. However he also likes to bite the zipper and the mesh ‘window’ may get a hole in it shortly from the dog clawing at it /biting it. I agree w another user that it should have something to secure it to the ground. My little 3 lb guy was outside of it, took the strap in his mouth and was able to pull the pen across the room! Purchased this after we had a litter of kittens born so we could bring them out into the main areas of the house to get used to. We ended up having to use it to quarantine 2 of them after they got deathly sick with a very contagious virus. They ended up spending almost 6 weeks in this thing, but it ended up working out very well. Just big enough to not make them feel cramped, and be able to fit a bed, food, water, and a small litter box, yet small enough to not encourage them to be too rambunctious while they were sick and recovering. The mesh sides are quite tough and able to resist sharp kitten nails, and having both a side entrance and a top entrance was a huge plus too; easier to prevent them from trying to get out when you use the top. Pretty easy to clean too; the bottom wipes clean (with some kind of liquid cleaner) without too much effort. It also collapses quite small and flat for easy storage. It could stand to be a little bit more sturdy. Enough weight on one of the sides (like from a kitten climbing up the side), can sometimes make that side collapse inward. But other than that, it serves its purpose quite well. ... show more

I have a 10 lb poodle and we just spent 20 days traveling. Many places didn't allow dogs (my baby is cleaner than most people's kids), but the playpen gave me a place to put her where she could see me and not be alone. It was perfect for leaving her in the hotel room for a little while. Kept her from chasing my sister-in-law's cats, and kept her from interacting with the huge playful goldendoodles. I used this for my Pup when I got him home. I put his bed in it and he knows its his house now. I can close the flap/door when I leave the house and at night I have it next to my bed so he is close by but not on the bed. He loves it and so do I. He sleeps like a charm with no issues and if something scares him (like the vacuum), this is where he runs to. The sides are easy to collapse in ( from the outside) and because I have this out all the time I constantly have to pull the sides out if he jumps on it from the outside. Way more comfortable and less threatening than a crate and perfect for a new pup. Great that I can take this with me if he go out. ... show more

I loved this for when our little kitty had to be spayed a few weeks ago and it kept her separated from my other cat and minimized her activity and let her heal. The top of the pen zipper opens right up or you can take it off completely and it makes cleaning it out real easy. And the side zipper door is great as it has velcro to be able to keep it open. We had to clean it out just about everyday for her but it was quite an easy set up and folds back away nicely. We ordered the medium and I would've ordered the large to give her just a bit more space, but she was pretty content in there most of the time and we let her out during the day to stretch as we kept an eye on her, then we put her back in at night with a small litter box and her food and water still. And it made it easy to take her cone on and off as needed. I would order a larger one for a large cat for sure. We want to eventually use it for baby chicks when they transition to be outside. ... show more

I have two dogs under 10 lbs and it’s perfect for them to share. I got it for when we travel or will be gone from home for a bit but one of my little lap dogs has taken to it like it’s her own lil bedroom. *not sure if there is a better solution but she did get her nail caught on the mesh somehow and we had to clip her nail out of it after she had been fighting it trying to set herself free. She’s gotten a bit tangled up, twisting trying to get herself free before we realized what had happened. That was a bit of a fiasco that evening but everything is fine now. It was in the hanging door right at the zipper, not sure how she even did that with the door being open. But it didn’t scare her away.
