The media could not be loaded. I have a 10 yo LL age son who won’t turn 10 until the end of the spring season. He’s ~72lb and is ~ 4’ 8” so definitely average for his age. He absolutely loves this bat before getting this bat he was swinging a Louisville solo 28 inch drop -11. I wasn’t quite sure how he was going to adjust to the additional length and three additional ounces, but it sure didn’t take very long. For a 10 year old, his mechanics are pretty advanced, so he is able to swing a larger bat than maybe other kids his exact size that do not have the same level of mechanics or skill. Also the pitching he’s facing is mostly mid-40s and he’s consistently on time or early. I consider getting the drop eight and still almost wish we went with the heavier bat, but was concerned that might be too big of a jump for him and next year plan on him using the same bat in 11u to 12u, where pitching will likely be in the low of mid 50s and he may not be able to swing the drop eight unless he gets a growth spurt. Ultimately will likely get a drop a bat to go with this drop 10 in the future but probably have some time before he really needs it. My son absolutely loves the feel of the bat. He says it feels great to swing and that he feels like his swing has some power behind it. It sounds like the bat has a slightly unloaded feel instead of a more balanced or light swinging feel. He says the bat feels amazing at the point of contact. Absolutely zero sting or ringing in on the hands. The bat appears to have a huge sweet spot as even slight miss hits still go deep into the outfield. Would highly recommend this bat for anyone looking for a two-piece bat. ... show more
