  • Works fast and easy
The cue tip on my break cue was EXTREMELY mushroomed. I used the Longoni Billiard Pool Cue Tip Razor Edger Trimmer Shaper Scuffer just one time and the cue tip was in perfect shape!!! It was so easy to use, just like a pencil sharpener. My advice is that you type the name of this product into a search engine and watch a quick video on how to use it. ... show more

  • Does what it says
I run a Kamui soft on my shaft and I tend to break with it quite a bit which shrooms it out. Even with some of the other deshroom tools out there, they never get it back to normal, so I’m constantly trying to free trim the edges. This thing took the guess work right and got the job done in 2 seconds. Too for right in, I spun it around and it trimmed off the whole shroom. Reshaped a little back to dime and tip is perfect again. This trimmer is gonna life in my case for life now. Awesome tool. Not sure it’s worth 20 bucks, but it’s not cheap Chinese junk since it’s made in Italy. It Feels very sturdy and definitely not cheap. I would buy it again for sure. ... show more

  • Will shave most flush
As long as your ferrule is smooth and you don’t lean the tool it does a great job, I find myself cutting a slice in my tips when I remove the tool from my cue. I usually remedy this by burnishing my tip with a peice of leather.

  • Works perfectly
I have a Cynergy Cuetek with Kamui Soft 12.6. Carbon Fiber shafts seem to mushroom bit more than regular due to low deflection =stiff hits. This worked perfectly to remove the mushroom. Surprised me how well it did the job.

  • Works !!!
Works good , but if you buy 14mm tips you have to get them down to 13mm for them to fit and even at 13 it’s a bit tight. I play with 12.5 so once I trimmed it, it worked perfectly. Here are two cues I did.

  • Not impressed
I’m really not impressed and quite disappointed in the quality of this tool. It’s made very cheaply. The razor was not sufficiently sharp either. I’ve been satisfied with other Longoni products, but not this one.

  • Good but not designed for American cue sticks.
Most Acoustix here in the US are thicker than what this tool accepts. My shafts are the 12.75 mm and there’s no chance of this thing going in unless you remove the O-ring that’s in there, which is kind of a pain to do. If you take out the O-ring, this thing works great, but has it shipped it won’t fit most people’s cues here in the USA. ... show more
