Was looking to make my own shelves then found these, the price is fair for the quality. They don’t feel “cheap” and flimsy like most wooden furniture/decor nowadays. I’d recommend a second person to hold the shelf up if you’re planning on mounting them high, they are sturdy and become heavy quickly.
