This dress looked so good on, and felt good too! I received so many compliments. The slit is a little high. But everything else was perfect. I would say possibly size up, especially is you are busty. The material is thick, with some stretch to it.

I bought this dress for a wedding. I would give it a solid 4 stars. The fabric is thick but flows nicely. It is a very flattering fit for someone who is 5'1" and 150 pounds (and not horribly long). I did not need to have it altered (and can wear flats without it dragging on the floor). I bought the green and it's a very nice dark green (as pictured). The slit is a bit bigger than normal but it isn't too revealing or strange. The only thing I notice as a downside is the way the dress is sewn. It definitely has a cheaper look to the ends of the sleeves but, from a distance, you can't see it. It didn't wrinkle too badly in the shipping process but I am getting it dry cleaned prior to the event I'm attending. Update: I have worn this to 2 events and it is definitely a great dress! It doesn't wrinkle as easily as other fabric types (while being worn), so maybe it was in the packaging for a long time? It is very flattering and looks like it cost more than you paid. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who is on the shorter side for a mid/floor length dress. ... show more

I like the stretch, fit, and high/low effect. The diagonal cut and ruffle are flattering to the body. I'm a medium in dresses and this TTS. It is fitted on top (I'm 5'5", 150 Ibs, 36C, broad shoulders) and there is stretch. The bottom is flowy. It is a midi and not too long - no hemming needed. I bought for black tie optional wedding. This dress is beautiful, fits a curvy body nicely, and is a heavier, high quality fabric. It looked fabulous on, hung well, and felt formal. I ultimately returned it because the slit up the front was too open for the occasion (a faith-based gala). The low cut neckline was low, but not so low as to make me feel immodest. Had I kept it, I would have kept the 3XL for my 248 lbs/5'8" size. I ordered several dresses for my nephews western themed wedding. This dress was the absolute best hands down. It is so pretty and looks way more expensive than it cost. It is very flattering on my 60+ year old body and my husband loved it. I was worried it would show too much cleavage and it does not at all. For reference, I am 5’7”, 164lbs, and wear a 38D.
