  • EXCELLENT MINI-MONITOR FOR SYSTEM BUILDERS
I needed a quick way to view a desktop on the systems I build and/or repair and this 7" dazzler does the trick. Very easy to set up and worked first time. Several inputs including HDMI. 5 Easy Stars!

  • Finally One Thats Bright Enough!!!!
I use this in a DSDplus FL portable setup and needed a screen to hook to the computer that was in the back of the car so I could hang it up front to see it. I bought one of those raspberry pi screens thats about the same size before I got this one. The old one was too bright at night and way too dim in the day... This one is perfect! Especially since you can adjust the brightness, it gets plenty dark and plenty bright! The brightness adjust works fine from about 25 to 75. When you go over 75 you may have to adjust some of the other settings as well as if you go under 25 but it’s definitely dim enough for night and bright enough in almost direct sunlight in the car up by the dash The speakers work fine up to about 70-80 then after that they start distorting but pretty good quality nonetheless! The stands screw wouldn’t go in, guessing it was too big for the stand but I didn’t need the stand but if you needed it maybe could get the right size screw? The picture quality is great also! My last small screens colors were all off a bit but this one is crystal clear and the colors are on point! ... show more

  • 7" Screen Highly Succesptable to Burn-in BUT the 10" Screen is Nice, Recommended for Retro Gaming!
rating bumped from a 2 to a 4: 7" screen burns in incredibly quickly, seller/manufacturer reached out post review and offered to provide a replacement. They sent out their 10" model and from a retro gaming perspective I like it! Preface - I tested both monitors with an original SNES and its stock component cable. 4:3 display mode, color setting at 20, other settings adjusted as well but ymmv 10" screen - The bad - light bleed around the edges (caused by pressure) but this is easily fixed - loosen the screws on the back and trim/cut of the small clips that hold the frame together on the sides. There is no negative to doing this. The stock color setting is way to high, I recommend adjusting it to 30 or below. The Good - Clean and relatively sharp display, 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, OSD offers great picture and audio adjustment options. Stereo speakers, component, vga and hdmi hookups. Low latency making for a good retro gaming experience. I genuinely love this thing, it's good budget option for retro gaming. Original review of the 7" screen: I had originally purchased this to tinker around with a Raspberry pi. The pi was defective so now what? This thing has composite so I hooked up my SNES. Worked great until I discovered it doesn't take long at all for the image to burn in.... be conservative with your brightness and contrast settings if you get this TLDR - Get the "10 screen. It's roughly the same price and is better in almost every way. ... show more

  • Great little monitor
Nice monitor with a good picture. I'm using it with my security cameras and it works great.

  • I LOVE this thing. I need a magnifier to see it, but I still love it
Ok, I might have bought a monitor a BIT on the small size for the decrepit age of my eyes, but that's just me, I'm old. Hooking it straight from a Pi400 and a Pi3b worked beautifully to display the GUI desktop a All the inputs work, and, if you can see the itty bitty thing, the on screen menu is quite helpful. I did have a slight issue with it not reporting the resolution correctly back through the HDMI, but taking resolution off auto and hardcoding it in the boot file fixed it. There was a terrifying moment when the display was upside down, but that was me fatfingering that boot file, whoopsie. Also the mount isn't 100% err... "mounty" due to a stripped screw, but that might have been my Superman self punching through the cardboard. Simple replacement of said screw only leaves it tilting a few degrees leeward, but again, a slight head tilt fixes that right up. Enjoy! ... show more

  • Good little monitor (power supply died and was replaced)
Update 2: The vendor reached out after a bit (apparently it's hard for sellers to correlate reviews with actual buyers, something that Amazon should fix). They apologized for the faulty power supply and refunded enough to get new one. I'm adding back 2 more stars because the monitor is a nice little device with no issues and because the seller did a good job addressing the faulty power supply. Update: I checked with another power supply and the monitor does work. So apparently it was just the power supply. I’m adding two stars because the monitor still works (crossing my fingers that it continues to do so). I’m still only giving it 3 stars because the power supply died quickly for no reason, and because the vendor hasn’t addressed this issue. Original review: This thing died after using this a few times and then letting it sit in a closet for a few months. I checked the power supply and it's still working, so the problem is with the display. It's now a fairly expensive paper-weight. It's strange because the last time I used it about 3 months ago, it worked fine and it's just been sitting in a closet since then. I guess it contains cheap components which degrade quickly. Avoid this and spend a few $ more to get something that will actually last for more than a few months and half-dozen uses. ... show more

  • Makes An Excellent Small Monitor For Low Price
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a small monitor that would fit into a flight simulator consol I use, and this 7 inch Loncevon monitor was just right. I mostly display weather radar maps or navigation apps on it. Has many uses, camera monitor, computers, etc. It comes with a HDMI connection for your video card on your computer. Has many adjustments for sound, picture, brightness, contrast, etc., that you can access from the small remote that comes with it, or on the case just below the screen. Comes with it's own stand too. The price was great for what your getting. ... show more
