PROS: They make this LONAI Ponytail with synthetic fibers, which I usually prefer over human hair because weather does not deflate the curls. Color is darker than described: Color is called Light Blonde but is really more of an Ash Brown with Platinum Blonde highlights (see photos). Size as described. It is more realistic and softer than others I have owned. CONS: It’s designed to wear attached upwards to have a flip up on the ends or downwards to have the curls turned under. While this may seem like a good attribute, in reality, this means that the drawstring is pulled from the side. This is a very awkward position to install the ponytail from, and makes it far more difficult than need be. TIPS: 1) These types of ponytails are easier to install if you put your hair in its own ponytail first, then BEND OVER and put the ponytail on upside down. This keeps the hair from getting all tangled. Flip back right-side up and comb through to style. 2) If your piece is too shiny and fake looking, you can soak it in alcohol for an hour and it will look more natural. This, however, can also add to the tangling problem, because the shine is a coating that prevents tangles. You will need to use a little fabric softener to tame it. 3) If in doubt about which color to choose, it is always advisable to buy a lighter shade. Synthetic hair can easily be toned or tinted to darker shades (see 100s of YouTube videos on how to do it). *You can’t highlight synthetic hair. 4) Synthetic hair can get frizzy and tangle easily. It requires very specific products and care to keep it looking new. I suggest watching care tutorials and investing in the proper care products if you want your synthetic hair to stay lovely longer. There are tons of good videos out there about how to shampoo, condition, detangle, add luster, and re-curl synthetic hair. To make your hair piece investment worth it, it pays to treat it right. Synthetic hair pieces should come with an owner’s manual. Do your homework and apply the wisdom before you decide the product didn’t last or meet your expectations. VERDICT: I like it except for the color. If your hair is Ash Brown/Platinum, then this "light blonde" hairpiece would be a nice one to own. “I hope you found this information helpful. I really like the fact that the hair has a very natural feel and tone to it. It took me a few tries to get the little draw string down pat, but once I got it adhered tightly into my ponytail, I was really impressed with how great it looked! The only downfall i noticed is whenever I checked on it in the mirror throughout the day, I started to see parts in it that became separated due to being too thin, thus showing parts of the netting that the hair is embedded into. If it had just a little more hair throughout the entirety of it, it would be just thick enough that this wouldn't happen. I don't feel like that is going to prevent me from wearing it in the future though, I just have to be sure to check on it in the mirror throughout the day. ... show more

This unit is so soft to the touch, felt healthy and full, and looks natural. You can tell a premium grade of synthetic fibers was used, as it looks and feels similar to human hair. I love the flip at the end, where it gives off a nice vintage flair. The hair came with no odor and simply put I LOVE IT! The ponytail also came with a lucky cat hair tie and some bobbi pins! This hair ponytail is a very good length and the color is a good match to what is shown online. The top and drawstring bottom have short fuzzy hairs that look like it was too close to a fire. Maybe they weren’t put in the net correctly. It looks very good on, although that’s a little hard to make it look natural. My ponytail isn't large enough to use this. I had to create a bun to even have something for it to clip into. But nothing I did made it look remotely realistic. It might work on someone else with more hair on their head, but it was a fail for me.
