Using on my London trip next month, and it's definitely more substantial than just a piece of whimpy nylon with a hood. Seems nicely made and flattering style. Fits true to size with room for comfort if also wearing light jacket underneath. Fabric is light. Can slightly see striped lining with light color coat but it’s not really noticeable

I moved to the East Coast last year and finally realized I needed a good rain coat because it rains for days on end. I got this right before a trip to NYC and decided to take it with me last minute and am SO GLAD I did. This is rain proof. During one of our trip days it rained NONSTOP. For 10 hours straight, we were outside in the rain. I had an umbrella but with all the on and off busses, back and forth to places, walking outside everywhere, had plenty of chances to get nice and wet, my feet were soaked. Everything else stayed dry!!! I lost my umbrella for the last few hours of our trip and just put the hood up on this thing, stayed super dry and comfortable. It fits great, I got a medium (I'm 5'2 and 118 lbs), and love how cute and flattering it is, but still has room for a jacket or sweater underneath. I wore a jacket underneath because of how cold it was during our trip. I did not get this coat for warmth, I got it for rain, so if that's what you're looking for this isn't for you, it's not a warm winter coat. Such a worthy investment, love this coat! ... show more

Purchased this jacket for trip to Scotland. It was great at keeping me dry but within a few days the inside lining ripped and the strings that allow you to fit it to your waist were lost somewhere inside. I don’t like that I look like a brick in it now so probably won’t be wearing it again. It also took up quite a lot of space in my suit case. ... show more

I really like this jacket. It is lightweight and useful when it is raining. I like the light lining inside it, I like the snap option rather than using the zipper and i especially love the color.
