I love bonsai and thought this would be a great way to display something that didn't need to be taken care of. It took me awhile to build and at some point I think I missed a step and had to go back and unassemble it. But it was fun to build and to see the result. I love the tree and the options of changing it for the seasons. I don’t know if I will do that, but it’s nice to have a choice. The bricks are a nice quality sturdy feel. The directions were not always clear, but the majority of it was. It did have missing pieces so I was not able to finish the stand that it sits on, I contacted the company through Amazon, but have not received any response and it has been almost a month. Bags were labelled, instructions were clear, but it is a lot of itty bitty pieces so keep that in mind if you are gifting it. I was happy with the final product because it looks as advertised, and I like that it comes with option parts even though I'm probably going to keep the pink ones on.

This tree of seasons blocks set is beautiful! The instructions are easy to follow & the pieces are all normal sized so theyre lego compatible. I currently have mine set up for the cherry blossoms and it is such a pretty piece.

This is a great 3-D cherry blossom puzzle. I called these buildings sets puzzles because I feel that they are a puzzle. You have to put them together and it’s easy to make a mistake if you don’t follow the instructions properly. This looks really nice. This is a bonsai style puzzle with cherry blossom tree. It took me a few days to put this together and it truly is very pretty. I do not recommend this for small children, as the pieces are small. this is good for tweens and upwards. ... show more

This little build set is really nice looking and seems to use good quality pieces. I think it looks really amazing and is an impressive little set. It gives a lot of versatility in that you complete the set with cherry blossom pink and while flowers, an orange/yellow leaves or the more traditional look of green bonsai. You can even go as far as removing some of the leaves/flowers to make the “plant” appear to be in different stages of blossom. The pot/container the “plant” goes into looked so real to me at first glance in the photos, or at least did not look like something you build. Obviously, upon further inspection and zooming in on the photos, I realized it was block pieces. I think overall it’s a great set and am happy that I was able to get this. Looking forward to being able to switch out the look from time to time to keep enjoying it over time. One thing I want to point out about the set is that it is a lot of little pieces and takes a lot of time and attention to follow the build instructions in the included manual. I mention this because the recommended age group for this set starts at six years old, and I would find it tough to believe an average six year old would be able to build this on their own. Maybe with a lot of help from someone older they certainly can partake in it, but likely this one is gonna be for kids starting around 10-12 years old. Other than that, I think anyone that is into block building sets, is plant/flower enthusiast, or just like a challenge, would really enjoy getting and building this set. ... show more

    • Cool idea, doing the leaves is NOT fun
I've done lots of buildable sets, so I'm pretty accustom to sets like this. I was looking for an accent piece for my windowsill and settled on this one due to value. Putting it together was an interesting evening, there were no surprises, but I have to comment that using the leaves kind of hurt my fingers, maybe I was too forceful. Final product was exactly what I wanted for a pop of color that I can't kill because I suck at watering. I bought this more for aesthetics than building experience. ... show more
