Loved the look of the table and the nice heavy cast iron legs. But it ends there. Putting the table together (and I have experience assembling things) was BRUTAL. I had to take a rubber mallet and nudge the carriage bolts into the holes to get everything to line up. The table actually set flat when I finished, but half of the carriage bolts could not be completely screwed flush, and the plastic corners (second photo) holding the pedestal in place cracked from the torque of the misaligned holes. I wrote to the company to try to recover half my money-it would have been too tough to get the table apart to send it back-and they refused, offered only to replace the table. But the table does stand, and is usable. Too bad they never heard of quality control so that the holes and screws would line up properly...the table could have been so much better. ... show more
