This is a great value mouse for office use. It is quite small and fits entirely in my hand, but feels fine. The buttons are all programmable with the Logitech software. And the battery life is excellent, I only had to change out the battery once or twice a year. However, the sensor on this has room for improvement. It does NOT work on all surfaces, especially surfaces with no pattern or texture, so I needed a mouse pad everywhere I used it. Also do not recommend for gaming or fast movements because of the sensor. Overall, it's a great mouse for office work, especially on the move since it's so small and wireless! My old mouse was double clicking on the left button after being knocked off my desk one too many times. usually I buy this mouse with the K350 in a combo deal, but I'd just recently got a deal on the keyboard alone, so needed just the mouse. I was hoping to find a deal on Amazon Warehouse, but there were none, so I went ahead and bought this. It arrived in brown box packaging, but with new Duracell batteries and a unifying receiver. The Logitech M510 mouse is the only mouse that I will buy anymore. It fits my hand perfectly and is quite comfortable to use for extended periods. Unfortunately, the renewed mouse that I purchased has a slight issue with the left mouse button that I will call contact bounce. There are times when clicking on the left mouse button that two characters are displayed. It is also possible that it may be the pressure that I apply with my index finger, but I doubt it since it doesn't happen on two other M510 mice. However, I was able to go into the control panel and adjust the mouse sensitivity so that it seldom happens so I am okay with it. Perhaps I will consider a new M510 mouse the next time instead of a renewed product, but I still plan to buy this brand and type of mouse. If I wasn't experiencing this contact bounce then this product would have been a 5 star product. ... show more

This is the second unit of this model Mouse that I have bought, although the first model I had purchased about four years back uses a true IR laser LED compared with this newer model that uses a precise IR LED for tracking illumination. Still very precise on many surfaces compared with standard optical mice. Battery life is great. The mouse has a power saver feature that it enters after about One minute of not use. I had a set of AA batteries last Two and a half Years in the first model mouse that I bought. There is a LED light on top that tells you when the mouse wakes up from power saving mode after moving the mouse again. High performance and well worth the money. ... show more

    • Cannot tell difference between "New" and "Renewed"...
I have this mouse and a wireless keyboard connected to a laptop that's hooked up to my TV across the room (for covid-eo streaming), and I never have connectivity issues. I already had the M510 that I had bought 'new' on Amazon several months ago, and bought the same model 'renewed' for another laptop. The only differences... •renewed one was less expensive •renewed mouse packaging was easier to open •batteries included w/ renewed mouse were name-brand Great mouse, and getting one renewed is a good way to save a few bucks. ***I know this all sounds like a fake, planted plug for Amazon Renewed, but it's not. However, if the Amazon-bots are listening, I would totally sell out for free swag. ... show more
