  • Mouse is great.............for 2-3 weeks
I've had quite an experience with this mouse. I'll start by saying it's an AWESOME mouse............at first. Right out of the box, it was flawless and super smooth. I had people in FPS games saying things like "when did you get so good????". Problem is, the mouse only works that great for like 2-3 weeks. After that, the sensor becomes insanely inaccurate, erratic and jittery. It's like the quality of the sensor is set to some sort of timer. I've gone through 3 of these mice to come to this conclusion....the first one I ordered on Amazon, replacement sent by Amazon, and one that Logitech sent me free of charge. ALL 3 were great for roughly 2 1/2-3 weeks then gradually became jittery and erratic. Great aim became awful aim. Once a new mouse was sent, it was perfect again until week 3. I couldn't even draw a straight line in MS paint once week 3 hit. I also tried different mouse pads, different pcs and tried cleaning the sensor just for kicks, even though after the 1st RMA I knew it was the mouse and nothing on my end. There's also no actual driver for the mouse, it just uses Windows drivers from 2006. There's Logitech gaming software to customize the light settings and what not, but no actual driver. To see if yours is jittery, switch to 800x600 resolution and move the cursor around. This resolution will give you a real up close view of the mouse. If the movement is anything like mine was, it'll be all jittery, jumpy and erratic. After doing research on this it appears Logitech has a wide spread issue of problems with their mice. I'll continue buying their speakers, and they have some of the best customer support around...but i'll never touch another Logitech mouse ever again. This thing seriously drove me mental. ... show more

  • Good until it failed: the mouse wheel died after 7 months of use
I agree with the rave reviews ... so long as it keeps working. I bought this product at the beginning of May, 2017. It's now the beginning of December, 2017 -- and the wheel has failed (it generates erratic signals, so that for example as I scroll up, it jerks back down randomly and vice versa). I will be investigating warranty options, but for such an inexpensive product (a plus, of course), exchanging it quickly becomes a waste of time and money (for postage). Incidentally, I tested to ensure that the mouse is the problem by replacing it with another mouse (an older Logitech G5, as it happens), and with no config changes, its wheel and overall functions are solid with no problems at all. I also tested the G203 on a different computer (a laptop), and it had the same problems there. I have contacted Logitech via their support site. It appears the mouse has a 2-year warranty! Waiting on a response. ... show more

  • Solid mouse for the price
Probably can't get much better than this for the price. Tracking is accurate, clicks feel solid, scroll wheel is a BIT too rigid for my taste but seems reliable (no missed scrolls etc...). Time will tell if the scroll wheel actually lasts or breaks after a year like on a lot of budget mice. The breathe LED lighting looks nice, but can easily be customized (or disabled if you don't like LEDs like me) My favorite thing about this mouse is that the size/shape is perfect for someone with small hands - not too big, not too small.Very comfortable to use. Really my only complaint is the mouse feet. Now they are smooth, the mouse glides nicely etc.. however: On mine, several of the feet were applied crooked and not totally in the slot where the foot should go. Kind of disappointing when the build quality of the rest of the mouse was nice (and obviously ymmv here I might have just been unlucky) Also my other concern is that I've had issues with these type 'sticker' mouse feet in the past, where they inevitably fall off (*cough MX518 cough*). I just got this mouse so time will tell here, but I much prefer mice that have the hardier, large plastic glide pads (e.g. Razor Deathadder, Corsair M45). I've never had a mouse with that style of mouse-feet where the feet fell off. ... show more

  • Uncomfortable for people with medium to large hands
I bought this mouse because of the features and good reviews for the affordable price. I must say it has a very good optical sensor and thus it is a very precise mouse with very accurate, stable, and consistent tracking. Right and left clicks are a bit loud and sharp sounding but give a reassuring but subtle click feel. The buttons are somewhat easy to actuate, however, and I should mention I did register accidental right clicks fairly often which was quite annoying. Also, not really a negative but this mouse only has one zone RGB lighting. So you can pick from or rotate through 16.8 million colors but the logo and ring around the mouse must always be the same color at any given time and neither can be turned off independently. It’s either same color all on or off. You can dim the lighting by choosing darker colors. The Logitech software must be installed to make any lighting changes. Though your color and button changes are saved if you then take the mouse to another computer without the Logitech software. On to the main issue and reason for my returning this mouse. It’s small. Smaller than I anticipated. I probably should’ve done some measurements beforehand but now I know what size to look for in future mice. Anyone with medium to large hands will be uncomfortable using this mouse unless you just like to use a claw grip with your palm way up over the mouse. Which leads me to my next point. There seems to be a peak right in the middle of the hump on the back of the mouse. This peak really dug into the bones at the base of my fingers and top of my palm. This and the small size and awkward grip lead to wrist irritation after just 20-30 minutes of use. I don’t have carpel tunnel but this mouse irritated my wrist more than any mouse I’ve used. This is a shame because it is otherwise such a well built and precise mouse. Nevertheless, there are great alternatives that are larger and more comfortable for those large handed people. I’d recommend Logitech’s own G403 or the SteelSeries Rival 310. Both have similar full spectrum RGB lighting and high end optical sensors and buttons like this mouse but are longer and wider and better for large hand palm grip styles. I went with the SteelSeries Rival 310 and am very happy with that mouse both precision and comfort wise along with two zone lighting. I would recommend this mouse only if you have small hands or absolutely must have a lightweight or travel friendly gaming grade mouse. ... show more
