I have wanted one of these for a long time. The cornbread was so good cooked like this. I sprayed with oil and put in the oven.....to get hot before pouring the cornmeal mix in them. Recommend!!

Awesome cornstick pan, preheat cast iron in oven at 450° with oil in the cavities, get it out after 10 minutes or more, the mix should sizzle when contacting the pan, fill to top and place the second pan empty and hot on top of it, 10 minutes in the oven each side. Enjoy! The cornsticks on the picture was of my first time using them, they fell off the pan easily. ... show more

Ok all of my cast iron is Lodge. I like it. I use it a lot. This is an interesting pan for corn bread sticks. This pan is probably one of my least favorites in the Lodge line because the stick. By the time you oil them down enough to prevent sticking, you have oily bread. Now to be fair I have used it twice. I'm not ready to give up on it, but haven't worked it out yet. It is an interesting piece in my collection and I'll keep it. As all Lodge sturdy and will last a very very long time. ... show more
